Happy Tuesday, and Merry Christmas Eve! Since this week is a “holiday week” for so many, I’ll be taking a little bit of a break… which really just means that I won’t be spending my usual 12+ hours behind the computer every day, and there won’t be any new features on ELD this week. However, I love looking back on past features and reliving all of the beauty, so in lieu of complete “blog silence”, I’ll be sharing my favorite picks for the best inspiration, details, weddings, and advice over the next few days!

Happy Monday friends! I’m sure many of you are out and about today, gearing up for the holidays- I know I will be very soon! But before heading out, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share this cozy and rustic winter wedding inspiration from Photo by Betsy with you all! Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

While I can and have coordinated all wedding styles, I do lean towards the more modern and classic style of weddings. I love unusual spaces, clean lines, and pops of color that you get with modern weddings and I also love the tradition and soft colors of classic weddings.

What is your favorite wedding detail you’ve ever seen or created?

I love using furniture in unique ways For example, having a couch for the bride and groom’s sweetheart table instead of individual chairs. It totally changes the look and increases the sophistication a couple of notches.

What is your favorite store or brand?

My all time favorite brand is Apple. I love the consistency of what their brand stands for. My favorite store is IKEA. I love the layout and the inspiration it provides for all things pretty.

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

The exchanges of the vows and rings. After working so long with my couples, it’s moving to see all their hard work come to that moment. It’s what they’ve been working towards and it’s happening right now. It’s so powerful. I always end up crying. It gets me every time.

What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?

My calm demeanor helps my couples not get stressed out. It helps them to know that I’ve got everything under control.

What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?

I take the time to get to know my couples and listen to what’s important to them and their vision for their big day. This helps me to provide them with the very best recommendations that are in line with what they want.
