This lovely peach and gray wedding inspiration from Alexis June Weddings and Cyrience Photography is a gorgeously modern take on a nautical wedding! Part of the Everything but the Bride series by Alexis June Weddings and Cyrience Photography, these shoots were developed as a way to showcase everything from the bridal party. This time, they wanted put a new spin on a traditional nautical theme, and my goodness is it gorgeous!
From Brandi of Alexis June Weddings:
We opted for colors that naturally occur in the sea, coral, gray and white with touches of gold. L’Oasis created the bridal bouquet using Juliet Garden Roses; coral, orange and peach Ranunculus white Peonies and Dusty Miller as an accent. The Bridesmaid bouquet consisted of Charm Babe Spray Roses and white Hyacinth. The tablescape includes Breath of Spring Spirea; Poppies; Snow Ball Viburnum; white Hydrangeas; White Calla Lilies; Charm Babe Spray Roses and Dusty Miller.
Madison Lee’s Cakes provided the delicious dessert bar, including the tiered cake, coral-tinted whoopee pies, “coral and white” cookies, anchor cookies, Guava Mousse cups, mini cupcakes with frosting seashells, fruit tarts and cream puffs.
While we didn’t want to focus on a bride and groom, we did include them in our shoot this time, as well as the all important bridesmaid! We fell in love with the Audrey dress from Winifred Bean. It paired perfectly with the feathers on the “Lula” dress sash from Tessa Kim to create the perfect bridal silhouette. The Mini Gold Birdcage veil, also from Tessa Kim, finished off the look. The groom’s suit is a custom design by Nauman Piyarji Couturier.
For the bridesmaid, we chose a beautiful silk dress from Zara that perfectly matched the color scheme. It’s great to show brides that you don’t have to go the traditional route when choosing a dress.
We’re so excited to share this series with Every Last Detail readers and can’t wait to show you what we are working on next!
So beautiful- I love the colors and the modern take on a usually classic theme!
Are any of you going to be putting a new twist on a certain type of wedding theme? What will you be doing?
