This blush and gold wedding from pure7studios is sure to make your day sparkle and shine! Romantic details, sparkly linens, a gorgeous beach sunset, and a couple that is SO in love is the perfect recipe for a simply amazing wedding…
From the bride, Lauren:
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
The fabulously talented planner, Jen Fisher, was my God sent wedding angel. Without her, we may not have had a wedding. She coordinated everything start to finish- from finding vendors to making sure we made it to our honeymoon cottage with something to eat! I called and emailed and texted her at all hours throughout the planning process. (Sometimes excitedly, sometimes in tears.) We couldn’t have pulled the whole thing off without her and It’s A Shore Thing. She did the heavy lifting and I got to tend to little, fun details. (Etsy, anyone?) Plus, it was awesome to know that someone was there just to make sure things went smoothly for us on our special day. Let’s face it no one other than Jen could have sent our family and friends away from looking on during our “first look” before the wedding.
Second in line are Ryan and Linds. They made me feel pretty and comfortable all day long. For an awkward, self-conscious bride, that’s HUGE! Photos were the part of our day that I was dreading the most and Pure 7 made them easy and beautiful! They captured all the fun, too!
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
I really decided from the get-go, that I was going to really put myself in Jen’s hands for the planning process. I told her what I was looking for in each vendor and she delivered the perfect match. I would have run myself ragged trying to track down vendors for my Seaside, Florida wedding while in central Arkansas!
We flew down for 48 hours and Jen set up meetings with everyone (with very little notice). I had my first meeting with Jen, tasted food with the caterer, picked out flowers and linens with the florist, met my photographers, and did a trial hair and makeup session all in a day. There was no doubt she was the one for me!
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
The keywords throughout the planning process were fun and personal. The ceremony was short and sweet, so we could get on to the party! I threw in some of our favorites when picking the menu- shrimp and grits, bacon cheeseburgers, calamari. And rather than sticking with tradition, I went with my favorite, red velvet, for the cake. We didn’t expect too much dancing, so I had a Mr. & Mrs. Corn Hole, a giant monogrammed Jenga set, and a glow in the dark bocce ball set for additional entertainment. (Although, I have to admit, everyone blew us away on the dance floor once the sun went down!) We did “midnight snack boxes” filled with homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk for favors at the end of the night.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
Oh goodness! I could never single out a favorite thing about my wedding. Seriously, I loved every last detail from the sequin tablecloths to the bacon cheeseburger station! Trey loved the lawn games and dancing at the reception. The location was everything. Practically every decision was based on our Seaside venues. The Chapel was beautifully quaint and the lawn was perfect. They really set the tone for the laid back and fun vibe we wanted that day. Everyone was glad to kick off their shoes and throw some bags or bust a move on the dance floor.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
My advice: Get a wedding planner! Trey and I were so blessed to be able to truly enjoy and participate in our wedding events, because I wasn’t having to coordinate things. I could never put a value on the piece of mind I had knowing that I wouldn’t have to sweat the small stuff on my wedding day -and short of being sure that I had a groom and minister- it was all small stuff.
I just love Lauren’s advice! And how great are the images from the ceremony? I love it when a photographer captures emotion like that!
What do you think of Lauren and Trey’s sparkly wedding? Do you love the blush and gold color palette as much as I do?
Vendors who made it all happen…
