With a romantic feel and a bright pop of color, these urban wedding ideas created by Saving Grace Occasions are absolutely gorgeous! Using exposed brick under cracked plaster as a backdrop, we love how colors and textures were mixed to create a stylish design that really shines.

The bride wore a high-low gown with an illusion neckline and lace detailing, while the groom wore a velvet (!!) tux. The bold berry pink and emerald color palette was found beautifully all throughout the stationery, agate slices, and wildflower arrangements created by The Cottage Rose, and we are absolutely head over heels! We love how the details came together, and we’re excited to share how Dana Tate Photography captured this fun and playful style. Enjoy!

We love the details that this team pulled together to create this look. The colors and textures played so well together, and we love how Kaked by Katie highlighted those elements through the design of the cake. The irregular colors and textures of the cake was the perfect mirror of the space, and brought in a mix of eclectic elegance that matched the details of the design.

What do you think about the mix of textures in this design? How do you plan to use your venue space to inspire your wedding day style?

We’re back with another installment in our wedding stationery series! Today, we’re giving you a behind-the-scenes peek (and ALL of the information) about wedding invitation detail cards (also known as wedding info cards). These always seem like the most elusive piece of wedding paper – do we need them; are they necessary; what are they?! You’re about to know every last answer – sit tight and keep reading!

Do You Need a Details Card For Your Wedding Invitation? via TheELD.com

Wedding detail cards can encompass so many different things. They can be the place where you inform guests about wedding hotel blocks; you can use them to provide details about your wedding weekend (a key thing to do if it’s a destination soiree!); or they can simply be a spot to clue your guests in on all of your wedding’s locations (think: ceremony, reception, and brunch). But, this piece can also serve other purposes!

Y’all already know how much we adore our V List Members, so we turned to one of our favorites, custom stationery designer Sandy from Roseville Designs. Her recent blog post sharing the ins and outs of wedding detail cards was incredible… so much so that we decided we needed to have her share a few of her tips on Every Last Detail! Make sure to keep reading below because this stationery piece is about to make sense.

Ah, the elusive information card for your wedding invitation suite. I constantly get questions from clients on wording for details cards. The truth is, it’s not one size fits all. What you include really depends on your guests + your wedding details, but here are a few things I always tell my couples…

1. Include Your Wedding Website

I can’t stress this one enough! You may have put it on your save the date, but it’s a long time between when they get the save the date and then the invitation. Though you want to believe your save the date is proudly displayed in their home, the truth is it may have eventually gotten bumped off for another fridge-worthy piece of snail mail. (If you’re looking for a great wedding website service, check out appycouple.com. It has password-protected options and has mobile-friendly versions!)

2. Decide if a details card is necessary

Though I believe the wedding website somewhere in your suite is a must, if you have a reception card where you can include the URL you may be able to forego the info card completely! (Woo hoo – money saver!)

3. Share Some Information, Not All Information

In this digital era, people don’t need turn-by-turn directions. If the location is hard to find or there’s some snag in the usual route, it’s helpful to include that detail. But at the end of the day, most of us have our smartphones which give us all the info we need.  This is why including the wedding website is so important; it gives you the opportunity to communicate as much info as you want to your guests online, and update it as things change (e.g. one hotel block books up!).

There are even more key tips in Sandy’s blog post, so make sure you don’t miss reading more! P.S: If you’re searching for custom wedding stationery from save the dates to invitations (and everything in between!), take a peek on Sandy’s site. We think you will be blown away by all of her lovely suites!

When two cultures collide, you’re sure to get a beautiful combination of traditions and typically a little bit of non-traditional details that enable a celebration that satisfies both the bride and groom. This California wedding day was the perfect mix of both! The groom, being Indian, wanted a ceremony that would reflect his colorful culture and traditions, while the bride wanted a traditional ceremony officiated by her brother. We love that they chose to celebrate with 2 ceremonies (and 2 cocktail hours!), and we are thrilled to show you all of the details of their beautiful wedding day!

Carren and Ninad celebrated with a full days worth of events in Placentia, California at the The Richard Nixon Library. The reception itself was a formal affair inside a replica of the State Room in the White House, full of ivory and gold details, while the ceremonies both took place outside on the grassy lawn. The vibrant color palette of the Indian ceremony was transformed into a palette of navy blue, mustard yellow, and soft pink and ivory florals.

There were so many elements that made this day special with the two ceremonies, traditional elements, modern details, and incredible design, and CCL Weddings pulled it all together flawlessly! We cannot say enough about how this day came together, and it’s best that you see the beauty that Christine Farah Photography captured throughout the day!

One of our favorite details during the second ceremony was the custom C+N vase where the bride and groom poured blue and yellow liquid to combine into green in a heart at the bottom. Such a fun and modern twist on the unity ceremony, and we love that the incorporated elements of their wedding design that made this element more personalized to their day.

Katie and Connor’s rustic Florida wedding at Bowing Oaks Plantation had pops of vibrant colors, wood details, and a little extra sparkle! They chose a bold color palette of pinks and teals with gold accents, which created a beautifully colorful day of celebration.

There were so many fun details that Angelita Esparar Photography captured throughout the day. As guests made their way to the ceremony, they were greeted by wooden signs lining the path with a bits of a Bible verse coming together as they made their way to their seats. The bride and groom exchanged their vows under a large oak tree framed with a sprinkling of white and pink flowers.

As guests entered the barn-style reception, they were welcomed into a beautiful space featuring soft white draping to lighten up the solid wood walls. The couple chose to mix both round tables with glittering gold runners and wood farm tables lined with greenery. And we love that they brought in touches of teal! The centerpieces created by Anything with Plants and Flowers featured a mix of lanterns and gold containers overflowing with hot pink, light pink, and white blooms. Coastal Coordinating did a perfect job of pulling these details together to make Katie and Connor’s wedding perfect!

Katie and Connor’s wedding was absolutely beautiful, and we love how much joy and love they showed throughout their day.

We are also excited to share their beautiful wedding film by Wes Davis Creative . It is always so special to watch these days unfold, and seeing this film captured so many sweet moments, and incredible words that were shared that day.
