As the year comes to a close, we’ve been busy reviewing all of our gorgeous posts from 2016! We’re of course starting out with the best bouquets of 2016, since they also happen to be my absolute favorite wedding detail (if you haven’t already gathered that from all of the beauties I post on Instagram)! There’s something so beautiful about florals, and the artistry utilized in creating bouquets never ceases to amaze me. It wasn’t an easy job, but I was able to narrow all of the bouquets we’ve shared in 2016 to 70 of my favorites. So sit back, and enjoy all of this gorgeousness- and don’t forget to click on the bouquets to be taken to the full post and all of the vendor credits!

When our friends at Ashton Events told us about the modern copper and green holiday party they were creating, we instantly knew that it was going to be amazing. After perusing the photos, we can attest to the amazingness- as you will see below! And while this was a general holiday party, we think that a wedding in these colors with the same modern style and copper accents would be absolutely perfect! The images captured by Jordan Weiland Photography are sure to give you tons of inspiration as we head into the upcoming Christmas weekend- enjoy, and happy holidays!

We asked Laura of Ashton Events about the inspiration behind this design, and this is we love what she had to say:

The inspiration behind this design came from wanting to bring an unconventional twist to the standard “red & green” Christmas decor. We used a blend of different greens and brought in copper as our only metallic. We loved how the variation of neutrals balanced out the greens- and it was a fun surprise to see that “Greenery” had been announced as 2017’s Pantone Color of the year the week previously. The velvet ribbon ties on the copper mugs gave the perfect pop of color to the place settings.

We can’t imagine a more perfect feature to send you into Christmas weekend than this red and white wedding captured by Cat Lemus Photography! When Abby and Andrew learned Highland Manor decorated in the most beautiful way for the holidays, they decided to embrace everything about it! Their color palette quickly became filled with shades of red, amber, and gold, and their reception space had the most beautiful Christmas tree as a backdrop. Abby’s bridesmaids wore berry colored long gowns, the groomsmen were decked out in grey with red boutonnieres, and Abby and Andrew recited their vows outside amongst an aisle decked out in red and green florals. A sweet first look, dancing away in red Converse (we love Abby, y’all!), and a stunning setting – who could ask for more this holiday season? Wishing you the Merriest of Christmases from the ELD Team, friends!
