Vicky and Matthew’s intimate South Carolina wedding at the Matthew’s parents home in Six Mile, South Carolina followed by a backyard garden party was a beautifully romantic evening with family and friends.

Dripping eucalyptus in the bouquets and flower crowns for the bridesmaids lent perfectly to an organic, casual feel for their wedding day style. The elegant and organic style created by Bloom Room carried over to the reception decor, incorporating greenery into places such as wooden light fixtures, and fern leaves tucked into napkins. The clear tent for the reception was lit with string lights and candles, creating a warm glow for dinner and sweet speeches. The evening ended in the sweetest of ways, with Vicky and Matthew dancing together, and it was all wonderfully captured by Cheyenne Schultz Photography.

With Halloween celebrations behind us, and the sugar rush from the past few days setting in, we close out one holiday as another cultural holiday is beginning. “Dia de Los Muertos,” or “Day of the Dead” is a celebration of loved ones who have perished who they believe they will meet again. Where it is a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, it is also a tradition held by may other cultures as well. With vibrant colors, traditional attire, and a play on “til death do us part” we absolutely love how this team pulled together such an inspiring design to represent this holiday.

We are absolutely taken with the gorgeous imagery captured by Rudy & Marta Photography, and the incredible detail in the design created by Modern Chic & Shabby Events. With the colorful floral style from Orlando Flower Market to the incredible hanging cake from designer Michelle of Bakers Cottage Cakes the culture and tradition of this celebration was truly brought to life with the color, detail, and style that was created. We love the inclusion of Sugar Skull models who whore traditional Mexican attire provided by Creaciones de Lucy, adding a fun element to the story of the day.

We are thrilled to share more behind this colorful style that the planner, Modern Chic & Shabby Events shared with us.

During the ceremony, when reciting your vows, in many traditions you will say “Till Death do us part”. Our thought process when designing and creating this wedding style, was that Death is another sure thing in life. A bit crazy in our thought process for this design, but it was created to showcase two sure things, the Love for one another will never die.
I love the way we handpicked every detail showcased. The vibrant colors played a key role in our design process, and we wanted to show the joy these colors bring to a celebration of Love with a flair of this tradition. We wanted Sugar Skulls to represent “till death do us part,” and we incorporated this motif throughout the design.

A whimsical style and the beauty of ballet mixed with the moodiness of deep tones created a beautiful setting for these whimsical fall wedding ideas. With the photographer and planner both having a background in ballet, they chose to loosely base this wedding design on the story of Giselle, but with a happier ending.

This wedding style was set among the woods and tucked away at Three Bags Wool Farm. We love the stone structure that created a unique backdrop for the ceremony area, doubling as a beautiful area for portraits as the golden sunlight fell upon the couple. Cedar and Lime Collective pulled together a team that made this look really come alive. We love how bridesmaids were included in this style, helping to tell the story that the inspiration based off of. With bold blooms and deep fall colors, we love that the balance of whimsical dance and a rich fall color palette created an unexpected look for their design.

We love how Birds of a Feather Photography captured the beauty and movement of this style along with the darker, and somewhat eerie take on traditional ballet inspiration. A perfect fit as we are on our toes a little more today as we prepare for a spooky Halloween tonight!

Such gorgeous inspiration, and we absolutely love the bride’s wardrobe change at the end to a deep burgundy skirt (. Such a fun way to bring in a pop of color, but stay so beautifully on trend with this whimsical ballet style.

These moody industrial wedding ideas with deep burgundy, black, and touches of copper are a welcome shift in style for the fall and winter season. We love the fun details that Confetti Events pulled together for this look! Using the unique features of the building, like an old elevator shaft and a vintage airstream trailer for fun portraits, and a beautiful rooftop space for the focus of the inspiration, we love how these ideas lend themselves so well to couples looking to have a bit of boldness in their wedding day style.

Mojica Photography captured the richness of this moody style in a beautiful way. We love how they used tucked away spaces, shadows, and streams of light to their advantage to capture such beautiful moments, along with all of the traditional details. The gorgeous blooms from Bella Chic Floral added depth and texture as they accented the fabrics and range of textures presented in the reception table design.

A final favorite from this style was definitely the dessert options. With several cake styles from Adorn Cakes along with a pedestal of donuts, we love the variety that this could potentially offer guests, and of course they look incredible as well. We love that they carried over the lightbulb details as a custom cake topper along with the dripping paint to create a unique ceremony keepsake. All of these details came together beautifully, and we hope they have inspired you to infuse a little moody industrial style into your own wedding day!
