Modern & Glamorous Purple Wedding

Just like the professionals who served Caitlin and Sean on their wedding day, this is a first for Every Last Detail too. Today’s wedding venue was a car dealership – Caitlin’s family’s Chevrolet dealership in Plant City, Florida to be exact! Caitlin is in charge of New Business Development, and Sean is one of the top salesmen (who also adores Corvettes). With help from event planner Blush by Brandee Gaar, transforming the dealership into an incredibly glamorous space just made sense for this car-loving pair.

To create the elegant look, the ceremony space included vases of calla lilies on either side of the aisle, and the pair were married beneath a crystal chandelier. In the reception space, ivory fabric was draped from the ceiling and an amazing chandelier completed the look. Plus, tables were covered in silver sequined linens, soft purple uplighting added a more modern feel, and the cakes designed by Sean’s mom looked almost too amazing to eat. Eclectic Blush & Mint California Wedding

Kate and Ryan’s beautiful California wedding took place at Spanish Oaks Ranch, where both their ceremony and reception occurred outside in the sunshine- and I’m convinced the sun always shines just a little brighter in California!

When designing their wedding, Kate turned to her sister-in-law, Nicole, as well as her mom to assist with creating her dream look. She settled on a color palette filled with blush, mint, ivory, and gold. I also love that the family team added dusty green in the form of eucalyptus from Ryan’s family’s property to the bouquets and centerpieces they also made themselves. Plus, Kate’s shares my view of flowers: you simply can never have enough! Kate felt as though her guests faded away during the ceremony while she recited her vows to Ryan and listened to her uncle officiate the ceremony (so sweet, y’all!). We’re so thankful Sarah Kathleen sent all of the lovely photos from Kate and Ryan’s wedding day to us, and we can’t wait for you to take them all in!

Kate notes that you should hire a photographer who you would also invite to your wedding as a guest. Personally, I think that advice is true for all wedding professionals, don’t you?

This stunning navy and blush wedding takes place overlooking a lake in South Carolina, and is full of romance, beauty, and so much love. Navy and white stripes complement blush and white florals in the most perfect way, while lush greenery adds an organic, natural element to the classic Southern ambiance of Dallas and Ryan’s gorgeous wedding. Joshua Aaron Photography captured the day beautifully, and Dallas is here with us today sharing more about her wedding planning experience. What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

Meagan Warren our wedding planner had some of the best advice as well as being our go to on the wedding day!

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

Someone whom I worked well with, someone laid back but knew how to get things done! && obviously I wanted the best in the business!

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

We got married on Lake Murray, with an outdoor ceremony followed by the reception just feet away in the club house. For this reason we wanted to go with something that fit us as a couple, a laid back atmosphere so we went with Khaki suits and dark blue dresses. We happened to also have bridesmen and grooms-women instead of having our friends stand for each other. We took the lake theme and ran with it just without the anchors!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

Besides having all of my friends and family there to celebrate, I’d have to say our band!!! Ascension- they were amazing to say the least & we have had so many people requesting their info for future events!

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Enjoy every minute- don’t freak out if something goes wrong or if its not as you planned! In the end it’s all about saying I do to the man of your dreams! Oh and have fun with it, it will be the best night of your life!

LOVE Dallas’ advice and insight! And did you catch that she and Ryan had both men and women standing at the “altar” with them? Love that they chose to do things the way that *they* wanted to!
