Pink Boho Wedding Ideas With a Southwest Flair

Considering that this inspiration shoot takes place in Texas, it’s quite fitting that these pink boho wedding ideas have a little bit of a Southwest flair! Bright shades of pink, dip dyed linens, and agate used at place settings and as a table number are just a few of the elements that have us loving this bohemian wedding design from Elizabeth Abshire Events & Design. Add in a few brass and gold touches, a beautiful lace wedding dress, and a delicious looking “naked” wedding cake, and you have yourself some stunning wedding inspiration captured beautifully by Kim Torres Photography– we can’t wait for you to see!

This gorgeous bohemian shoot was located in the small west Texas town of San Angelo. While most people couldn’t locate San Angelo on a map, I found tons of fabulous inspiration here. The dry climate & dessert surroundings really lack a certain flair…however they make for an amazing blank canvas. This shoot is the very first for San Angelo and I am so incredibly proud to show it off.
We chose an exotic animal ranch located on the edge of town in hopes we would run into a zebra or two…unfortunately, we didn’t. But instead, got some amazing boho inspiration with a little southern flair running through it. Tons of pink, lace, gold accents and a few antlers really brought this otherwise masculine ranch to life.
Some of my favorite elements are actually DIY projects that you can easily transition into any season or color scheme. The tablecloth & napkins were all hand-dyed. My husband, mother and I gathered some clearance fabric, stitched it together and dipped everything. (We used “Wine” Rit brand dye, a plastic tub and a curtain rod!) The ice bucket was made by two $1 pails and dried flowers left over from my birthday. All local vendors really brought my vision to life. I am beyond excited to bring a little glamour to this small dusty town.

Liz and Juan’s relationship can only be described as serendipitous. She participated in a short cultural exchange to Cordoba, Argentina where she first met Juan. She described him as “the one that got away”, except the pair were reunited a year later when Liz returned to Argentina to complete a year long program! He knew English, they talked about politics, and they traveled throughout South America together before Juan proposed in 2014.

Liz and Juan’s DC wedding, planned by one of our favorites, Bellwether Events, took place at the Meridian House and was a completely classic affair that lovingly honored their relationship, heritage, and family. L+J’s guests were treated to their bilingual ceremony (programs featured translations!) before cocktail hour in the venue’s garden. Inside, baby’s breath centerpieces wrapped in burlap lined the tables for a simple rustic, vintage touch. The bridesmaids’ dresses were pastel and lovely, the bride’s dress is so elegantly classic, and I am certain you will enjoy each and every moment captured by Mary Kate McKenna Photography!

Everything is simple and classic, but oh-so-beautiful! It has been our pleasure sharing the wedding day of Liz and Juan with you today!

Before you view today’s California wedding, let me preface it by saying it’s glamorous and elegant and completely beautiful. The bride and groom opted to host their soiree at Palazzo Mansion, a private estate in Orange County, California, where stunning vistas seem to abound even more abundantly around each and every corner (think mountains, palm trees, and the most beautiful golden light).

The ceremony was held outside, and the aisle was lined with lush tall arrangements filled with white hydrangea, blush roses, orchids, and cascading crystals. Chairs were tied with white organza bows, and tossed petals were arranged in a beautiful design. Cocktail hour was held on the prettiest patio by the pool (with more gorgeous views!) before guests retreated inside for a night filled with dancing with the bride and groom. Unreal, y’all! I seriously cannot wait for you to take in each and every moment captured by KLK Photography!
