Cymbre and Robby’s garden inspired wedding took place at Pratt Barn in Arkansas, and is absolutely gorgeous! Inspired by the rustic romance of flowers, this Southern fete was filled with stunning florals in shades of blush and coral, glimmering candlelight, and personal details. Stephanie Dawn Photography was there to capture each and every moment, and we are so thrilled to be sharing this beautiful wedding with you today.

What was the inspiration for your wedding?

My idea for our wedding was rustic romantic garden. I am a gardener at heart and I absolutely love flowers so I knew the focus of our colors would come from the floral arrangements and bouquets. I wanted the lighting to be soft and romantic with lots of candles and some uplighting. So I started with these ideas and began my planning process with Lisa Dawson.

What were the unique details of your day?

One of the unique details from our day was our unity candle ceremony. For our unity candle ceremony I specially ordered personalized candle stick holders and ceramic candle dish. Another special detail was our local honey favors. This was my DIY project. I ordered adorable ‘Honey I Do” tags with our names and wedding date for our jars. I hot glued ribbon around each honey jar lid and tied on the tags with gold cord. Another wonderful details was our amazing coral peonies that were specially ordered from Ecuador, they made the bouquets really something special…along with the succulents of course!

What advice do you have for brides planning their wedding?

Take your time and make your day exactly what you want it to be. Make sure you have people there to help you. Whether they are your family or a wedding planner…you will need some help, I promise. Soak in every minute of the planning process and being engaged. Time will fly by. Between planning the big day and all of the festivities and showers in between you will look back and think where did time go.

I personally love the way Cymbre infused a bit of her life as a teacher into the wedding details with math problem table numbers and dance floor “rules”! So much fun!

How are you planning on infusing your own life and personality into your own wedding?

Caroline and Kyle’s South Carolina wedding took place at Wavering Place Plantation, located just outside of Columbia. Their celebration was filled with colorful florals, an eclectic mixture of personal details (the two refer to each other as Weezie, so their cake topper is a weasel couple), cafe lights hung beneath magnolia trees, and a serious array of Southern staples perfect for a foodie couple. We’re so thrilled for you to see more of their soiree designed and planned by Meagan Warren Weddings and captured magnificently by Liz Roberts Photography!

While Caroline and Kyle’s wedding details are amazing, the story of how they met is what has stuck in my heart: While working for the same company, Caroline’s father bonded with Kyle over their mutual love of bluegrass music. Convinced that Kyle should meet his daughter, Caroline’s father introduced the two and the relationship was meant to be! Naturally, blue grass music by The Mustache Brothers was proudly played at the couple’s nuptials as an ode to what will always tie the two together and to honor Caroline’s father who sadly passed away before the duo tied the knot.

This is such a beautiful celebration of life and love, and we are so honored to have shared Caroline and Kyle’s day with you!
