The mountains of Park City, were the perfect setting for Tina and Jesse’s intimate, romantic Utah wedding at the St. Regis Deer Valley. Using the surroundings as their inspiration, the couple opted for lush greenery and stems of beautiful florals to create an elegant, nature inspired design created by Tinge Floral. Tina’s soft, romantic bouquet filled with shades of peach, plum, and pink added the perfect pop of color to her gorgeous lace gown, and her First Look with Jesse is absolutely heart warming! We can’t wait for you to see everything captured by Pepper Nix Photography!

An ivy covered stone railing surrounding a beautiful courtyard was the perfect setting for today’s romantic, fairytale inspired wedding ideas. A neutral color palette of champagne and white created beautiful romance, while lush greenery and gold accents added a bit of whimsy to the design- the epitome of a fairytale if you ask me! A tablescape design with hanging florals and moss coupled with letterpress paper details and the most amazing escort display completed the look designed by Heather Benge Events, and we can’t wait for you to see everything captured by Eden Grey Photography!

Y’all, we simply adore Amalie Orrange Photography, so when today’s Orlando wedding landed in our inbox, we were nothing short of elated. Just like us, the bride and groom placed great value in finding a fantastic photographer and videographer, and it’s safe to say Amalie did not disappoint with her gorgeous aesthetic!

Alexandra and Sam knew they wanted to celebrate with their family and friends in Orlando; however, they had one small caveat: they planned their wedding from afar. They kindly asked vendors to meet with Alexandra’s mom and aunt, and their professionals graciously met with the couple when they were in town. Together the team created a gorgeously romantic wedding day at the Country Club of Orlando. The soiree featured a neutral palette of gold, champagne, ivory, and sweet touches of blush. You’re sure to adore the florals by Lee James Floral Design, and we’re so happy Brandee from Blush by Brandee Gaar planned every detail effortlessly. We so hope you love taking a peek at Alexandra and Sam’s wedding day below!

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

We were very lucky to have a lot of help with planning because we really needed all the help we could get. The wedding was in my hometown and we didn’t live there at the time, so our moms and my aunt jumped in and were a HUGE help from start to finish. We found an amazing wedding planner that helped us every step of the way. She kept us on track and had connections with vendors in town that really fit our style which helped us pull together a ‘dream team’. On the wedding day, she took care of every detail and kept things running behind the scenes which allowed us to relax and really enjoy the day.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

When we were deciding who to work with, one of the most important things to us was flexibility. Since we were planning from out of town, we were limited as to how and when we could meet with people. It was important to me that they were okay meeting with my mom instead of me, or could work with me over the phone or via email. I really wanted to be able to meet face-to-face when possible and luckily most of our team took the time to fit us into their busy weekend schedules when we were in town.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

The inspiration for our design came from our personal style and our venues, we wanted our wedding to be classic and elegant. Our venues were pretty traditional so we wanted to complement that in our details, we chose a neutral color scheme of gold, champagne, and ivory with touches of blush. We had candles on all of the tables which added a romantic element to the reception. Our florist blew us away with our head table design, we had seen a sketch but didn’t know exactly what to expect, it was stunning with a bit of an old-Hollywood glam look.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

We both love music and were so excited when we found a great band for the reception. They sounded amazing and kept everyone on the dance floor. All of our guests had so much fun and could not say enough good things about the band.

Another favorite thing was getting to see all of our family, we both have fairly big families that live all over the country so it was really special to have everyone together.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Find a good photographer and videographer that have a style you like, look through their galleries and meet with them or schedule a session beforehand so you are all comfortable together. The day goes by so fast, there are things you will miss or forget, and this is how you will remember it for years to come. We were so lucky to have a great team that worked well together and captured our day beautifully.

Nicole and Chris grew up mere miles apart from each other, but they didn’t officially meet until a chance suggestion by Match.com years later. Their match was followed by an engagement and a carefully planned backyard wedding in the home where Chris grew up. Chris and his dad worked tirelessly to turn their home into a beautiful setting for the couple’s rustic wedding filled with oh-so-beautiful vintage touches.

Their ceremony aisle was lined with greenery and florals, and the couple recited their vows beneath a lovely arch. A swing complete with greenery hung nearby, and it was the perfect place for portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs post ceremony. Crates and china served as centerpiece vessels, and blush and red flowers completed each look as a nod to Chris’s late grandfather.  The reception kicked off with a live band before a DJ took the floor later in the night to make sure the dance floor was filled until after midnight.

Fun, comfortable, memorable, and pretty were the adjectives the duo wanted their wedding day to embody, and the pictures by Meghan Christine Photography show they absolutely met their goal with additional planning by Icing on the Cake Events.

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

Our wedding planner, Stacey Boyett, from Icing On the Cake Events helped us the most in the planning process of our wedding. She was a tremendous help and made the planning process for our backyard wedding fun. Stacey took the time to listen to us, attend vendor meetings, and carry out our vision. We still receive compliments from other vendors and guests about how organized, easy to work with, and how hard she worked on our special day.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

The most important thing to my husband and I when we decided who to work with for our wedding was that they were easy to work with, were great at their specialty, and helped make our wedding planning and day so special.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

We held the ceremony and reception at my in-laws ranch-style home. Our inspiration for our details/design was rustic and elegant. We chose the colors navy blue, gray, and pinks with pops of red. The pops of red were important to my husband because it reminded him of his late grandfather. We borrowed mis-matched antique plates to add a beautiful personal touch to our tables.

We also chose to have a band and a DJ. The band played primarily classic rock for our guest arrival, cocktail hour, and during dinner. They set the tone that we wanted our guests to have a good time. The DJ began playing after dinner and played past midnight. Our guests definitely enjoyed the music and dancing; which was important to us.

My husband and father-in-law spent many hours getting the backyard ready for our special day. The many undertakings included the transformation of an old shed into a small barn and also placing a large wooden post in the center of the yard in which market lights were strung from one end to the other.

Our florist, Cindy Sheridan, was a huge part of our wedding details. My husband and I told Cindy what we envisioned and she was able to transform the backyard into more than we could have imagined. Cindy, provided all the rustic decor that we used for our day. These included: chandeliers, ceremony arch, table centerpieces/flowers, whiskey barrels and an old door as the table top for our dessert table.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

Our favorite thing about our wedding was how much love and support we felt from our guests and how much fun everyone had. I can’t leave out how beautiful everything turned out and the happiness we felt.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

My best advice for other brides is to enjoy the entire wedding process. Do not get too caught up in every detail and focus on what is most important: your wedding is a special occasion for your family and friends to come together and celebrate the love between you and your husband.
