Every time a destination wedding arrives in my inbox, I’m reminded again and again how much I adore each and every one. I love when ceremonies and receptions are intimate and the wedding feels much more like a weekend long event rather than a single day of celebrations. Needless to say, I have so much adoration for Danielle and Matt’s Punta Cana wedding held at the Paradisus Palma Real!
Danielle and Matt spent their childhood living only a few houses away from each other. They finally met in high school, but it wasn’t until their twenties that they started dating. On the night they got engaged, Matt planned a scavenger hunt (in addition to completing Danielle’s scavenger hunt for him!) that ended with him on one knee on one of their favorite ski trails.
The pair have always loved Punta Cana, so they opted to exchanged their vows on the beach in front of the beautiful Caribbean. Guests were then welcomed into the reception for a relaxed night filled with dinner, dancing, and a surprise circus show! I cannot wait for you to see each and every detail (and stunning portrait!) captured by Asia Pimental Photography.
Such a gorgeous destination wedding! We love the design and details that Danielle and Matt chose- it’s not every day that you see burlap at a beach wedding!
