Perhaps it’s because my style is typically so preppy, but I always LOVE when bohemian wedding inspiration lands in my inbox! Swanky Soiree Events pulled together a shoot inspired by Florida in the fall. The warm palette of peach, burgundy, and gold mixes perfectly with the cooler blue tones, which were all chosen to match the unparalleled sunset views found at Longboat Key Club. The team imagined a couple reciting their vows by a tee-pee and then joining friends and family for dinner under the stars. The prettiest stationery would invite guests from near and far, and we can only imagine how hard it would be for anyone to stop sneaking peeks at the bride in her Stella York sequined dress from Something Blue Bridal Boutique! Let’s just say this fall-meets-bohemian-meets-oh-so-pretty-shoot captured by Alisa Sue Photography is giving Florida’s gorgeous sunsets some serious competition!
From Christina of Swanky Soiree Events:
Inspired by breathtaking sunsets, colorful waters, and unique water front views on Florida’s Gulf Coast we wanted to produce a distinctive concept that can be found in very few places in the United States. The scenic views from The Longboat Key Club presented the design team with local elements that represent a refined Florida. The Florida Gulf coast presents sunsets that can be soft and muted, as well as, vibrant and saturated with rich colors. Pops of burgundy, peach, pink, gold, and deep blues have a way of contrasting with the natural beauty of Florida in fall and that is the reason we chose these as our color palette. It’s these natural Florida fundamentals paired with Bohemian elements such as dream catchers, mix matched rugs, vintage furniture, and a Tee-Pee that create an eclectic one of a kind vibe with a modern twist.
