Vendor of the Week: Shelby Peaden Events

It’s time for another Vendor of the Week my friends! This week you’re being introduced to Shelby Peaden Events, an event planning company based in the Florida Panhandle. I can vouch for the fact that Shelby is one of the sweetest people ever, plus her wedding planning skills are pretty awesome. Now it’s time to learn a little more about her…

Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

I love it all! At Shelby Peaden Events we want to be able to assist a bride with creating a wedding that is her style, not ours.

What is your favorite wedding detail you’ve ever seen or created?

Anything and everything paper! Attention to detail is what will set your wedding a part from the rest and I love the paper details. Unique programs, place cards, and even fun drink flags are all ways to incorporate paper details into your wedding or event.

What is your favorite store or brand?

Jcrew for wedding & everyday as well as the new BHLDN wedding line.

What advice do you have for a newly engaged bride?

Try to give yourself as much time as your can planning your wedding. I see brides that are so excited to get married that they try to plan in a short time frame which can be stressful. I also encourage brides to take their time and research the right vendors for their style and personality.

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

There really isn’t one particular thing about a wedding that I love. I like it all. Each wedding is so different. From the dress and accessories to the floral and decor. I just love the entire experience of a wedding.
