Elegant & Modern Purple Fall Wedding

When I first saw this wedding, I just couldn’t get over how incredibly gorgeous the bride Cassandra was! Not only was she absolutely glowing on her wedding day, but the photographs by Concept Photography are just incredible. And the venue? Breathtaking! The bride and groom wanted a modernized fall wedding, and I think they achieved just that!

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

Stacey Kallenberg (Wedding Planner) at As You Wish Wedding & Event Design did an amazing job. She listened to everything I had to say and made it more than I could ever imagine!

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

That connection…I needed my vendors to be able to take my ideas and run with them.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

 I always knew that I wanted a fall wedding but to modernize that “fall” theme to reflect us. My Husband and I love clean lines. So we wanted everything in squares…from our save the dates and invites to the centerpieces.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

I really do have to say I loved everything…but beyond the decorations/details I have to say it was watching our close friends and family come together and truely enjoy themselves.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Many people were against my Husband and I seeing eachother before the ceremony but I have to say it was the best decision we made.  I loved it being just the two of us and it didnt take away from that moment of walking down the aisle- I think it made it so much more exciting. Our photographers captured every minute so we could share the moment with our family and it allowed us to be able to enjoy our cocktail hour (which was amazing!!). So my advice is to take doing pictures before the ceremony into consideration. ;)

What excellent advice about doing a first look! This has to be one of my very favorite weddings that I’ve posted here on ELD. I can just tell that it was beautiful, meaningful, and so much fun!
