With floral patterns and flower crowns, Sara and Josh’s rustic boho Hudson Valley wedding was as sweet and thoughtful as they are as a couple. A flirtatious first look, a simple ceremony, and a casual reception came together in a beautiful way that seemed to fit this couple perfectly.

We absolutely love the flowing floral gowns that the bridesmaids wore, which were perfectly complimented by the floral crowns that each of them wore. Simple and subtle, this garden celebration took a beautiful rustic boho vibe, and created a joyous party for this couple to enjoy with family and friends. You’re going to love the sweet details were captured by Laura Lee Photography– we can’t wait for you to see!

One of our favorite things that their photographer, Laura Lee Photography, shared with us was Sara’s thoughtfulness in gifting her a flower crown for her to wear as she captured and celebrated the day with them. What a sweet gesture, and such a beautiful way to include your vendors into your day of celebration.

As we start a new week, we’re excited to share a new Christmas tabletop design with you as we continue on our journey through the 12 Days of Christmas Tabletops. We start this Monday off with 10 Lords a Leaping, and we love this deep winter blue style that offers an elegant woodland look!

As always, make sure you check out the beautiful images captured by Jenna Nicole Photography, along with some insider knowledge regarding the design of this look from Laura Helm of Ashton Events and Emily Waters of Treasury Rentals.

From Laura:

“We loved taking this style and showcasing that a centerpiece doesn’t always have to be flower focused to be elegant and detailed. We created a masculine vibe with a woodland style mixing white bottle brush Christmas trees and pinecones, and by mixing in cloches, we were able to add some height and interest while taking the look to the next level.”

From Emily:

“If we’re being honest, today’s theme stumped us. How were we going to convey a design that represented dancing gentlemen? Our design greatly surrounded the gorgeous navy and black linen from Nuage Designs, Inc.. The dark navy, mixed with a modern black pattern gave a structured menswear look, then pairing it with our Ella Dishware and White and Gold Goa Flatware, we were able to up the elegance, giving the tablescape a more regal feel.”

We love that they chose a bold navy linen for this Christmas style. Going from a traditional holiday design to something a little more modern and non-traditional, we love how this team of V List members have already stretched Christmas tabletop expectations, and we think this style would look perfect for a celebration with family and friends.

Chloe and Xander’s North Carolina wedding day was full of sentimental moments, intentional details, and a whole lot of love. From a special keyboard performance by the bride’s uncle during the ceremony that left everyone feeling the emotion of the day, to the bee theme carried throughout as a nod to the bride’s bee keeper father, personal touches were everywhere!

The bee theme was incorporated in such a fun and subtle way throughout this couple’s sweet wedding design. A beeswax unity candle, small honey jar favors, and signature cocktails with bee-inspired names are just a few ways that the theme was carried through the day. These elements were a perfect compliment to the colorful rustic style of their wedding day, and of course a fun nod to the bride’s father.

We think you’ll love the personal details and the joyful celebration that Mikkel Paige Photography captured of this sweet couple’s wedding day!

A fun final detail was the ice cream truck, The Parlour, that Chloe and Xander chose as an alternative to a traditional wedding cake. What a fun and unique idea that really allowed them to let their non-traditional personalities peak through.

Are there any unique and non-traditional elements that you plan to incorporate into your wedding day?

We’re back at it with our 12 Days of Christmas Tabletops series created by some of our talented V List friends. We loved what they brought to the table for 12 Drummers Drumming, but today’s 11 Pipers Piping style gives us all the Christmas feels and is easily attainable for both a wedding look or a holiday tablescape at home.

We hope you continue along with us on our journey through each day as we count down. Enjoy this subtle pipers piping theme, and don’t forget to read more from Emily and Laura about the concept for this style, and of course, the beautiful images captured by Jenna Nicole Photography .

Emily from Treasury Rentals:

“This look was by far our most traditional Christmas style out of all of our designs, and I absolutely love the warm feelings it evokes. Red taper candles, an evergreen runner, wood and leather details, and a bundle of cinnamon sticks were the perfect details that made this style so special. We paired our Acacia Wood Chargers as a way to add a warm rustic element that balanced beautifully with the evergreen and natural fabrics of the napkins. Adding a pop of copper in with the flatware was the perfect way to tie in the warmth of the cinnamon sticks and hand-lettered leather tags.”

Laura from Ashton Events :

“This was a fun style for us as we were able to go all in with a truly Christmas feel. We chose to do a loose evergreen garland to add a beautiful Christmas tree feel, and mixed in varying heights of red taper candles. Our favorite element was the rolled napkin tied with a leather name tag for each guest with cinnamon sticks and a sprig of evergreen tucked in. We chose cinnamon sticks as our link to this theme as it reminded us of as a playful nod on pipes.”

Though this is a very traditional Christmas feel, we absolutely love how easily this style could be transformed into a beautiful wedding style all year round.
