We are so excited to start officially kicking off the holiday season with a fun series of inspiration styles created by a team of Florida V List Members! Over the coming days, we will be celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas Tabletops with beautiful holiday styles inspired by the song, The 12 Days of Christmas.
What we love the most about this series is how they took a relatively silly song- that if you’re anything like us, quickly gets stuck in your head on repeat during this time (sorry, and you’re welcome?!?), and created 12 elegant styles that are sure to impress at any wedding or dinner party. We hope you enjoy counting down through the 12 days with us!
Today we’re starting at the top with 12 Drummers Drumming!
Make sure you catch the words from the designers, Laura Helm of Ashton Events and Emily Waters of Treasury Rentals, as they explain the links for the daily themes and design choices. Enjoy the beauty and cheer captured by Jenna Nicole Photography at one of our favorite venues, Haus 820, in Lakeland, Florida.
Without further ado, we present to you the 12 Days of Christmas Tabletops!
From Laura of Ashton Events:
“We loved how the shape and style of the vintage brass container reminded us of the snare drum carried by our drumming drummers. Bringing in touches of masculine tones like black, matte gold, and deep reds mirrored our image of the toy drummers. We especially loved how the gold leather dot overlay from Nuage Designs, Inc. hinted at the top of thousands of miniature drums.”
From Emily of Treasury Rentals:
“We loved collaborating with Laura on the design of this project! We wanted to find ways to balance out the design’s subtle nods to our themes, but maintaining a beautiful and elegant style. We chose to incorporate hints of black to give the look a more masculine and modern feel, and I love how the gold leather and black plates and flatware grounded the design. We also love the feel the black taper candles brought to the design as they sat in our brass candlesticks. We chose a grey modern goblet and champagne coupe to add to the sleek modern vibe, as we toast to a holiday season full of cheer.”
We are so excited to share the rest of the beautiful Christmas styles that this team came up with to showcase how quality design and intentional details can completely transform your tabletop style, no matter what you choose as your inspiration. Stay tuned tomorrow for the next design!
