I’m so excited to share this new wedding resource with {ELD} readers! The new My Wedding Concierge search engine is built solely with bridal content. It’s like using Google, without having to sort through all of those useless websites that try to capitalize on the wedding industry.

Founder Phyllis Cheung scoured the best wedding blogs and websites to create the ultimate search engine for modern brides and grooms. The search engine is a follow up to My Wedding Concierge’s iPhone application, which is the only application that focuses solely on wedding vendors, putting planning in the palm of your hands. Because My Wedding Concierge has brides of differing budgets, it also features vendors of varying price ranges. Brilliant, right?

Phyllis started My Wedding Concierge because she wanted to give brides a new way of finding wedding vendors with the new smartphones available. The iPhone had the app store that was growing at an exponential pace and since there weren’t any iPhone apps for finding wedding vendors, she decided to have her husband create one. They then created the search engine for weddings to help streamline the planning process for brides and grooms.

An even better facet about My Wedding Concierge, is that it can be very useful for DIY brides. From the website, you can search for a project and the search engine will bring up articles and blogs with instructions that can help you create whatever you desire!

I’m kind of jealous that I won’t be able to use this to plan my wedding! Perhaps I can live vicariously through a bride using it! Who’s game?

Last week we featured a wedding in Australia, and this week we have one in Hawaii! What better way to start off the week than with a little bit of paradise, right? My favorite shots are of course the ones on the beach, but I love that this wedding isn’t the “traditional” tropical wedding. It’s always nice to see non-tropical colors like red used in a wedding in an exotic location like Hawaii.

This wedding by Kricia Morris is one of the first of many Hawaii weddings she’ll be shooting, as she recently moved there from Florida’s Panhandle! A perfect move for a photographer, from one gorgeous beach to another!

Beautiful, right? These are awesome shots Kricia! Thank you, and I I can’t wait to see more of Hawaii through your lenses this year!

So I’ve decided to add a little something new to Every Last Detail. It’s a “week in a review”, “week at a glance”, “weekly synopsis”…whatever you want to call it! I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while, and it’s not really that big of a deal, but for some reason I just haven’t done it until now.

Basically the {ELD} Week At A Glance will contain links to all of {ELD}’s blog posts for the week. The thing that encouraged me to do “Week At A Glance” is the fact that I am SO incredibly behind on keeping up with blogs. It’s starting to become overwhelming for me (which I know is probably the indication that I need to unsubscribe to some). However, whenever a blog has a single post with links and descriptions for all of the week’s posts, it’s so much easier, and it saves me time. I’m all about saving time and being efficient, so this will be a way for me to help you all be efficient in reading {ELD}!

Amanda of An Occasional Design sent these Thank You notecards over for me to share with {ELD} readers. I love being able to provide you all with things you can use! Best of all, the design doesn’t scream “WEDDING”, so they’re applicable for just about anything! Just print them out on a good cardstock, and you’re good to go!
