Just about everyone is a “list-maker”. I have lists all over the place, and half the time I don’t even realize I’m making lists! I’ve tried using several online list programs, but there’s something really satisfying about checking things or crossing things off of your list. Being able to jot things down as you think of them is something else that I love about lists too, because my mind is constantly racing with thoughts!

Last night I went to go make a disorganized list of things, and ended up in Illustrator designing something to separate my “To Dos” according to categories. Then I designed a basic To Do list with boxes to put those super satisfying checks in, and I thought I would share it with you all! You know, since everyone loves making lists!

This “every last detail to do” list is perfect for anyone. Whether it’s housework, blog posts, or vendor phone calls that need to be made, you’ll have a place to jot things down and check them off!

I know it’s not super perfect, but it’s simple and it’s functional! There are two to a page, and you can literally fold it in half and just cut the page into two separate lists. I hope it will help some of you like it’s helped me! Have a great weekend…and good luck tackling your lists!

Okay, I’ll admit it. I’m obsessed with wedding dresses. Don’t be surprised if I happen to appear in a dress in upcoming photo shoots! I just love them SO much…I wish I could collect them (um, I already have 2, so I guess that’s a start…)!

So, I’m constantly looking at wedding dresses, and I get so excited when there are new designers! I discovered Pixton Couture through…yeah, do I even have to say it? Twitter of course! TheĀ Pixton Couture Bridal line is reminiscent of Old Hollywood glamour. All gowns are carefully constructed using luxurious silks and hand-beaded details inspired by vintage jewelry, and body conscious silhouettes give the collection a modern edge. A combination of vintage style with modern design…absolutely perfect!

Yeah, these definitely make me want to go put on a wedding dress again! My favorite is the first one with the lace…I love love love lace! There are several more Pixton Couture dresses on the website if you want to see more! Now I just need a bride to get one of these dresses and have me be her planner…that would suffice!

When Joanna of Joanna Wilson Photography sent over this wedding, I was scrolling through the pictures, thinking, “Oh my goodness, this is so cute,” and then I saw the couple, Herb and Alan! I was SO excited! This is the very first same-sex wedding featured on {ELD}, and I am so very happy to say that it is absolutely gorgeous, simple, and beautiful! Herb and Alan had been together for over 17 years when they got married! They were married in their best friend’s backyard and had an intimate group of friends and family in attendance. Take a look at just how gorgeous yet simple this wedding was…

I’m planning an {ELD} photo shoot, and I decided that it was time to create an inspiration board for it. The below images each embody a part of what I want the shoot to be like, but I can’t decide on a particular style to name it! To explain what I’m going for, here a few of the things going through my head: vintage and rustic, but not completely. Some bold colors thrown in, with hints of softness. And I want to stay away from the cliche “rustic chic” style (as much as I love it, it’s SO overdone).

As you may recall from last week’s super excited for 2010 post, I’m compiling a list of just about every possible wedding style there is to choose from! It’s in the works, but I still need more input. So, I want you all to help me name the style of this inspiration board, and in turn, help to name the first {ELD} photo shoot!
