Happy Monday afternoon everyone! As I mentioned last week, July is my birthday month, so I decided that I wanted it to be FULL of amazing wedding inspiration! Last week we had 5 days of red, white, and blue wedding ideas, and if you missed it, you absolutely have to take a look! This week is going to be fun, cheery, and bright with some fabulous yellow wedding ideas! Bumby Photography and At Last Wedding + Event Design teamed up to show us five different ways to incorporate yellow for a wedding. We’re starting off with a rustic style in a yellow and gray color palette, and it’s pretty gorgeous…

From Jaclyn of At Last Wedding + Event Design:
The overall approach that we were going for when designing our mini series, especially our rustic style, was a DIY “I can do this on my own” type feel. Many of the décor elements that you see in this shoot were created on our own, with materials that we already had or that we produced ourselves. The wooden effect was very important to us when designing this look so we incorporated a simple wood table (a farm table would be perfect, as well), painted shutters and clothes pins. As well, twine is a perfectly simple way to jazz up a rustic style; tying them around flatware and mason jars fit perfectly!
I think my favorite detail from this shoot is the placecards, and how they stand up on their own with mini-clothespins. A great idea, right?
So tell me- are any of you going to be using yellow in your own wedding? What color are you pairing with it?
Be sure to come back each day to see all the other styles of this miniseries!
