Happy July everyone! As we all know, July starts off with lots of celebrations because of the 4th of July, but I also have another reason to celebrate- it’s my birthday month! To celebrate the month of July, I will be sharing “mini” inspiration shoots put together by some of the amazing members of Every Last Vendor every weekday during the month of July! Each miniseries will have an overall theme, and each day will feature a different style interpretation of that theme. It’s going to be a month FULL of inspiration, and I am SO excited about it!
We’re starting this month of inspiration quite appropriately with red,white, and blue wedding ideas from New York ELV members Roey Mizrahi Events and Alexis June Weddings! Today’s shoot features a classic, nautical look, with some absolutely amazing rope details and a gorgeous take on red, white, and blue.
From Roey:
“With the concept of “Classic” I decided to move forward with a nautical themed tablescape. I envisioned a red, white and blue themed beachy Hamptons wedding. The hydrangeas were added to solidify that; a flower that you almost see on every property in the Hamptons. Wanted to incorporate further motifs that someone could incorporate when considering a nautical theme besides the rope so I used the blue anchor place setting décor/napkin rings.”
So incredibly gorgeous! I’m IN LOVE with the rope placemats- such a great idea!!
I love how this isn’t the “typical” red, white, and blue that you see. As Roey explained to me, “We opted not to do the typical loud red white and blue throughout each variation. We didn’t want the tones of our color combination to resemble each other- in fact we didn’t really even want someone to be able to recognize that these tablescapes were showcasing the color combination. We just wanted to show realistic versions of how to incorporate color into a tablescape and inspire people along the way.”
