Look #3 of this week’s yellow wedding ideas miniseries from Bumby Photography and At Last Wedding + Event Design is one of my favorite styles- eclectic! I’m loving the mix of yellow, white, and blue- I don’t think I’ve ever seen these colors all together before!

From Jaclyn of At Last Wedding + Event Design:

When we think of “eclectic” we think of combining details that are a bit “off the wall” and quite diverse. Our most special décor piece in this shoot was the place setting. We admired these unique dishes and when La Lovely Ink prepared some beautiful watercolor-effect menu cards, we knew that this look was coming together perfectly!

The usage of the “Love” sign is a great piece of extra decor too- truly eclectic!

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My mother was my biggest help in the planning process.  We live in Dallas and got married in Palm Beach Gardens so we were constantly coordinating through emails and phone calls.  On my wedding day, it was definitely my bridesmaids.  They were so helpful in every aspect making sure I was calm, fed, relaxed, and ready to have fun!

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

Both Chris and I wanted to make sure we were comfortable with those that we were working with.  If we couldn’t meet with a vendor we used Skype.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

I looked at magazines, friends’ weddings, and Pinterest and kept coming back to a white, classy and elegant wedding.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

One of my favorite things was our band.  Everyone is still talking about how great they were.  They had everyone on the dance floor, from grandparents to my sorority sisters, it was awesome!

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Lean on your family, friends, and fiance when the wedding planning gets overwhelming and stressful  Ask for help, as they are all willing to take on some piece or project.

Oh I just love the white and gold color palette with touches of blush! So beautiful!

Are any of you going with a more classic color palette like Erica did? Will you be adding a pop of color too?

Moving on with the next look for this week’s yellow wedding ideas miniseries, we have a vintage style tablescape! With a lace tablecloth, vintage china, and yellow and white florals, this look from Bumby Photography and At Last Wedding + Event Design is quite beautiful…

From Jaclyn of At Last Wedding + Event Design:

Grab some lace, candelabras and floral prints and you have yourself a vintage look! We absolutely adored preparing this look because vintage is so very popular right now and we absolutely love it! There are two main elements that we wanted to include in this style; the first, preparing a table number that is a part of the actual centerpiece. The second, combining a hanging element (the chandeliers) with the table top décor. Both elements are fantastic trends right now so we made sure to incorporate both of them!

I for one LOVE anything and everything hanging, so of course I love those chandeliers! And the table number that is incorporated into the centerpiece is a fabulous idea- one of my favorite things to do for table numbers!

So what do you think of this yellow vintage look? Will you be incorporating any of these elements in your own wedding?
