Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

We are two fun-lovin’ photographers with a style described as romantic, artistic, dramatic, emotional, and vintage-inspired yet modern. We love what we do and always maintain artistic vision and high standards for every wedding!

What is your favorite wedding detail you’ve ever seen or created?

Geez, talk about trying to pick your favorite child… so hard to choose! One that really stands out was a wedding in which the bride had a “Love Grows” theme, with her wedding and reception held in a beautiful garden amidst giant, ancient oak trees. Guest tables were adorned by small potted plants, ceramic bluebirds, and mason jars with vintage-inspired flowers. Her bouquets were very organic and earthy, using succulents and lovely pops of color from gorgeous, romantic flowers. Another one that we recently traveled to photograph was in Apalachicola, FL (a small, rustic and lovely oyster/fishing town). The bride, a longtime Lilly Pulitzer lover, had wonderful taste and tied in everything from the fresh and fun colors from the bicycle print Lilly bridesmaids dresses, to having authentic Apalach oyster shells in her topiaries and table arrangements, amongst organically grown florals shipped in fresh from Tennessee. It truly was a visual masterpiece!

What advice do you have for a newly engaged bride?

Aside from hiring photographers with which you not only connect to their images, but them as people, hire a full-service wedding coordinator so you (and your mom) can be a guest at your own wedding! Other than that, relax and truly enjoy the process. The most important part is that you are marrying the man you *love*!

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

Our favorite part is capturing the intimate, emotional moments that take place at this most sacred event. The last proud, (yet just a bit sorrowful) glance of the father at his daughter as he prepares to give her away. The look of the groom’s face as he sees his beautiful bride for the first time in her dress. The loving gazing into eyes of grandparents as they slow-dance with each other on the dance floor. These are the moments that truly make our job not only something we love to do, but something we are honored to do.
