Ciera and Ian’s love story spanned over years and oceans, as they were high school sweethearts who met while their parents were working in Singapore. Though time and distance worked it’s way into their story, they eventually found their way back to each other, and celebrated their journey in a beautiful, classically romantic Miami wedding at the Red Fish Grill on the outskirts of Miami.
Their intimate wedding had close friends and family traveling from near and far to celebrate this next chapter. They wanted to keep the design of their day simple and timeless, and we absolutely love how Maison Francis Design Co pulled the details together. They exchanged their vows under a tent draped with soft white fabric that created a beautiful and minimal backdrop as they became husband and wife. We love the monochromatic color palette of all white details with greenery and gold accents, while the wedding party wore cool blues that created a perfect compliment to their oceanfront festivities.
As things go in South Florida, the unpredictable weather struck as the Father/Daughter dance began, which turned into a downpour during Ciara and Ian’s first dance. However, they never left the dance flour, and embraced embraced the moment. We like to think that these first few moments of marriage will reflect on how they handle a lifetime of adventures together.
We hope you’ll enjoy the sweetest moments that this couple shared as captured by Darling Juliet Photography.
Gosh. The moments celebrated here–the tears, the joy, the laughter–they sure do get us every time. We love this couple’s timeless style, and the fun moments (both expected and unexpected) that they enjoyed throughout the day. From the simple design to the nods to South Florida style found in the ocean views and the onsite cigar roller, Pablo Romay, we love how their day came together.
