Inspiration & Ideas For Getting Ready On Your Wedding Day

One of the often overlooked aspects of planning a wedding actually occurs on the wedding day- getting ready with your friends and family! This time is filled with anticipation, love, and excitement- not to mention, you’re getting to spend cherished time with some of the people who you love most. And while the morning is typically made up of hair and makeup, mimosas, and maybe even gifts, we’ve teamed up with Aisle Society and David’s Bridal to show you a few more ways to make getting ready on your wedding day even more special!

We envisioned an intimate and fun morning of a bride with her bridesmaids filled with gorgeous outfits and fun goodies from David’s Bridal. We wanted to start the morning off right snuggling and sipping coffee in cute custom PJs with a yummy mini-brunch bar for treats. All of the girls even got their personalized coffee mug!

Then everyone donned lace trimmed robes to get dressed, with the bride taking some special moments with both her besties and her mom. The color palette is fresh for spring with mismatched floral print and blue bridesmaid dresses from David’s Bridal with pops of peach and cream in the flowers. The bride looked stunning in her barely blush embroidered floral tulle gown with lace trimmed chapel veil, ready to meet her groom!

We will never tire of seeing bridesmaids in different dresses… especially when color and patterns are involved! And PS- how amazing are those robes?! I can tell you for a fact that having a robe while getting ready for a wedding is a MUST. Plus, it’s such an amazing bridesmaid gift… I still use mine from the last wedding I was in!
