When the words fun and elegant are seen together, you KNOW it’s going to be amazing, and that’s definitely the case for this Pennsylvania wedding! Ashley Gerrity Photography captured Brittany and Jonathan’s beautiful day, and we love that it was filled with fun, personal details. From their two pups being a part of the wedding ceremony, to tables being named after meaningful places, this wedding is the epitome of showcasing exactly how your wedding details make your day unique to you. We can’t wait for you to see it all (oh, and the gold sequin bridesmaid dresses are amazing too)!
After their dogs Baxter and Dutch had made it down the aisle, they patiently waited with their dad for mom to come down the aisle. Brittany beamed as she walked with her grandfather towards Jon to exchange their wedding vows. It was a short and sweet service performed by Brittany’s uncle, punctuated with vows and an epic kiss.
They?d crafted the table numbers with hand drawn images of iconic Philadelphia landmarks and ARS Brewery made a special beer just for them. Lawn games and an early evening reception had everyone enjoying a Saturday among friends while looking their best.
There were no parent dances as both Brittany’s father and Jon’s mother are no longer with us in body. But they were there in spirit. Jon’s father carried a picture of his mom down the aisle so she could be there in spirit.
