With the Tuscan-inspired Bella Collina as the gorgeous setting for their Central Florida wedding day, Jamie and Ashley celebrated the start to their marriage surrounded by family and friends in a location that looks far from being in the heart of Florida. Ashley wore a gorgeous Rivini gown and carried a beautiful bouquet of soft pink peonies with hints of blue and dusty green succulent accents. We love how Kristen Weaver Photography captured the elegant details and romantic style that this couple created along with their event designer, AATR Weddings.
Not only are we thrilled to share all of the pretty details from this wedding, but we are excited to share some insight that Ashley shared with us regarding the planning of this special day! We hope you enjoy this one as much as we did.

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
My mom helped me the most in planning my wedding day. She and I have very similar tastes, and she majored in Art in college and has a great eye for what looks good!

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
The most important thing to me when deciding who to work with was personality and style. I wanted to work with people who knew the venue (Bella Collina) and who shared my vision for the wedding day. I could tell at the first meeting whether I wanted to work with the vendor or not based on their vision and energy!

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
For the inspiration for my wedding details/design, I mixed my love of romantic European style with spring colors and it all came together beautifully! I wanted the day to feel and look romantic and soft and not be overbearing. The venue was so beautiful that it did not need much attention to make it look magical.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My favorite thing about my wedding (other than marrying my love surrounded by friends and family) was the floating flower and candle wall behind the sweetheart table at the reception. I was skeptical about how it would look, but my florist, Lee Forrest, read my mind and created such a breathtaking, romantic, and unique piece that looked even better than I imagined.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
My best piece of advice is to listen to your heart! Make sure your wedding is exactly that – YOURS. Take advice from people, but at the end of the day, make decisions based on what you and your partner want and not what other people want. You and your soon-to-be life partner should shine through in the details of your wedding. Your guests should be able to see your personality in the wedding.
Thank you Ashley for sharing your wedding day with us. We definitely agree with her, and think the floating flower wall behind the sweetheart table at the reception was such a fun installation, and definitely made for a unique focal point in the room.
