Elegance abounds in these gorgeous blush and red wedding ideas that we have for you today! Drawing inspiration from the surroundings of the venue Behind The Blue Door, planner Elle A Events created a look that beautifully incorporates the organic elements of the outdoors with elegance and romance. Blush, red, and white are the perfect shades to achieve a romantic look among the organic, lush garden surrounds, and it was all captured beautifully by Katrina Jayne Photography! We can’t wait for you to take in all of the beauty of this inspiration!

From Elle A Events:
When most people see Behind The Blue Door or any outdoor venue, their first thoughts are typically drawn to a more rustic vibe. That said our inspiration for the shoot was to reveal an outdoor wedding in a unique and non-traditional light. We wanted to showcase an outdoor venue during the evening to give it a glamorous and romantic, yet very soothing vibe. The end goal was to leave guests with a “wow” factor that left them thinking and talking about the wedding forever.
With all its beading and pale rose shade, the glamor and volume of the bride’s gown acted as the main focal point of the event. Everything flowed seamlessly from there. Thinking of ideas for décor was all to easy when you have the opportunity to work with a venue that is as perfect as Behind The Blue Door. Everything for the venue was meticulously placed by hand, which made bringing our vision to life that much easier. There is a large wood burning fireplace that greets you as you enter the ceremony space, mixed with the lush green walls of hedges and huge trees covered in leaves that surrounded you on every side.
The color we chose for the bridesmaid’s dresses added the final touch of refinement needed for the whole event. For the groom, we wanted him to have a more casual and relaxed feeling that exuded confidence and made him feel comfortable in his own skin, but complimented the bride’s beauty and elegance. For the bride’s bouquet, we wanted it to have a dramatic feel for the color, yet simple in the overall look. Once we decided a vision to go with, we picked one type of flower that would give her bouquet a deep richness. With gold being a huge accent throughout the shoot, we painted birdcages and put candles on top of moss in them all around to add a more romantic touch. The table setting by the fireplace was one of our favorites. We incorporated vintage dishware with rose gold flatware and a delicate napkin finished with a perfectly matched linen. We like to call it “old romance meets simple elegance”.
We feel what we produced was to show a wide range of what can be created for an outdoor wedding. It is never late to climb outside of the box and let your imagination lead you to something quite extraordinary.
