You know, I really like ballroom weddings. Unfortunately we don’t see too many of them in the blog world, but in reality, it’s the type of venue that many of you are working with. (Especially if you’re getting married in the south during the summer!) My own wedding was in a ballroom, and remember having such a hard time finding inspiration for a ballroom wedding. Which is why I always jump on the chance to feature a ballroom wedding with excellent details and decor, like this gorgeous Florida wedding from Root Photography! Phenomenal florals, fun custom cootie catchers, and awesome table numbers! A pretty awesome combination if you ask me!

Cootie catchers! I LOVE this idea for favors. I also love the hanging lights from the floral centerpieces. So elegant and beautiful.
Are there any photos anywhere of what the inside of the “cootie catchers” say? (hahaha, I haven’t referred to them as that since grade school). Also, I was interested in seeing HOW they were used at the wedding (display, etc). I’m thinking about possibly using them as escort cards at my reception but not sure if it’s gonna work or not… seeing some here helps me out!
