Filled with eclectic, chic details, lots of stripes, and sparkling sequins, this peach and gold wedding captured by Christina Maldonado Photography is absolutely gorgeous! Rachel & Johnathan, a laid back, offbeat couple, wanted a wedding that incorporated Johnathan’s love of sailing without being too much like the typical “beachy” wedding- and my goodness, the result is gorgeous! Rachel and MMD Events paired drift wood and sea grapes with farm tables, fresh florals, and black and white stripes, creating a wedding design that is coastal-inspired, unique, and oh-so-chic- and it’s definitely not your typical beach style wedding. See for yourself, and be sure to keep an eye out for Rachel and Johnathan’s custom painted family crest too- it’s amazing!

I just love the concept of having a fabulous lounge area as a part of your wedding design- and it looks like Rachel and Johnathan definitely loved it too! And how fabulous is this unique take on a “beach” wedding? So gorgeous, right?
Are any of you going to be doing something a bit different from the norm for your own wedding design, like Rachel did? What’s your plan- do you know yet?
Vendors who made it all happen…

I think the mismatched bridesmaid dresses have to be my favorite detail!
I love this! The stripes are so chic, and the stationery suite is fabulous!
Thank you so much for featuring me!
I am on the edge of my seat waiting to know who did the hand painted invitations!!!
Michelle, the bride did them herself! :)
