Teacups are such a GREAT antique detail to add in if you’re wanting to achieve a “vintage” wedding. You can find so many in local thrift stores and antique shops and do so many things with them!

Candy or dessert- Teacups are the perfect size for a little portioned bite-size snack! Put a teacup with a dessert of some sort at each place setting, and you instantly have additional table decor!

Centerpiece- Using teacups as part of table decor is my favorite. Put a few large blooms inside the teacup (or one really big one), pair it with some larger vases with flowers, and you have a great centerpiece!

Favors- Another great way to use teacups! You can plant something like succulents in them (like the photo below), and then it’s something that your guests can keep for a while! Add a tag to the teacups with your guest’s name and table number, and you have an “escort item” that’s super cute and will guide them to their seat!

A Tea Bar- everyone loves some sort of DIY bar, and tea is a great twist on this trend! Perfect for a vintage wedding, and even more perfect if you or your fiance like tea!

Teacups are awesome. I just love them- in fact, I think I might start collecting them! What are some other ways to use teacups that you’ve thought of? There are so many more!

I love this post, Lauren!! Tea cups are a favorite of mine and remind me of fond “tea party” memories shared with my grandmother. Such sweet nostalgia to add to a wedding day!
