Oh my goodness, I am SO in love with these modern romantic pink and aqua wedding ideas! Inspired by the modern art and romantic style found at The Alfond Inn, this unique inspiration was photographed by the fabulous Amalie Orrange Photography, designed by Cathrina Dionisio, and filmed by Imprint Cinema. Created as inspiration for the Winter Park Bridal Stroll taking place this coming weekend (Feb 9th), this shoot would make just about any girl want to put on a stunning Marchesa wedding dress and stroll through a boutique hotel…

And be sure to watch the film by Imprint Cinema- it’s so uplifting and beautiful!

From Cathrina the designer:
When you are a wedding planner/event designer who has a background is in graphic design and advertising you see things in a different light. Each element of an event is not a singular thought—it’s part of a bigger picture, much like an ad campaign. Our brides will come to us with a certain vision in mind and we will help them pick a venue that not only fits their budget, but one that will enhance their overall vision.
Amalie Orrange and I have been wanting to collaborate for some time. An opportunity came up when I started planning our promotional campaign for the annual Winter Park Bridal Stroll. We weren’t quite sure of the direction we wanted to go in. When we and I walked into the newly opened Alfond Inn, it became very clear. The venue inspired set off a spark. The architecture of the boutique hotel is Spanish revival, which blends in perfectly in it’s historic Winter Park surroundings, but the owners added a massive twist—modern art and contemporary furnishings. This juxtaposition of styles just spoke to me. It was a lot like myself. My fast-paced ad life and clean modern design colliding with the romance, softness, and traditions of weddings. We had to interpret Modern Art meets Romantic.
We set up our team of vendors mostly based off of people we just like to work with. But looking back, we all seemed to embody modern and romantic. Every single one of us was known for true love of this industry and weddings, but also being able to create and interpret in truly creative ways.
How much do you love this? The bright and beautiful colors, a watercolor pattern, and stunning florals all combine to create absolute gorgeousness! Such wonderful wedding inspiration, don’t you think?
Are any of you drawing your inspiration from art, or maybe a specific print? I’d love to hear!
