A Romantic Candlelit Peach Wedding

We’re starting today off with a stunning candlelit peach wedding from Kristin Moore Photo. It’s full of romance, pretty details, pure elegance and absolute beauty! The lovely bride Emily is here with us sharing more about her wedding:

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

I planned the majority of my wedding myself. I hired the wonderful ladies of C&D Events to help me with Day of Coordination, and The Wedding Wire, and The Knot.com vendor reviews were a place to help me narrow down my choices for who to work with.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

Did the vendor understand my aesthetic and get what feeling I was trying to achieve for my wedding. If they just didn’t get what I was trying to do from the start, then they never would have given me what I wanted in the end. Price was also a big factor, it needed to fit within my budget.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

I loved the look and feel of gold and blush under candlelight. I wanted the reception to feel very romantic and intimate with lots of candles on every table and an interesting mix of color and texture at each place setting. Under the tent (cause it rained) I was inspired by how our friends normal hangout when we are together and that’s outside, drinking a beer. I wanted different seating arrangements to allow people to just hangout and chat.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

I have two favorite things. The first was the the feeling that I got right before I walked down the aisle. Very intense butterflies, crazy nervous, the kind of feeling that takes your breathe away. That’s how you know it’s really true love. The second was that all of my and my fiance’s family and friends were together in one place. The room felt electric with love.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Let your authentic self shine on your wedding day. If you want something that is unique to you and your guy then do it. It’s good to think about others, but really this is all for the two of you.

That is the BEST advice ever! I just love the romance and intimacy of this wedding- the candlelight really play a big part in conveying that, don’t you think?

I don’t know about you, but chances are pretty high that I’m going to LOVE just about anything that involves a bit of sparkle, and these pink and gold wedding ideas definitely deliver! I’m a country girl at heart, so when I saw this rustic Kentucky farm wedding from VUE Photography, I literally clapped my hands with glee! With plenty of pearls and cowboy boots – not to mention the gorgeous hills of Kentucky Horse Country – this sweet wedding has tons of down home, Southern charm (it also has a million images because – y’all – it is too good).

I love, LOVE all of the fun details from this wedding… but my favorite has to the be the amazing Welcome Basket including all things Kentucky! What better way to welcome out of town guests than with treats and tokens representing the best of your fair city (or state).

Happy Friday! I am so excited to share this oh-so-pretty Bahamas destination wedding from Dolce Photography with you today! Glittery sequins, shades of pink, and the most stunning tropical backdrop make this wedding one you won’t want to miss!

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

I can honestly say that there were two people who helped me through the entire process- from planning to wedding day. They would be my maid of honor, Jackie Ortuno, and my wedding planner, Marva Munroe. Although both of them contributed to my wedding in different ways, I couldn’t have gotten through it all without either one of them.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

Definitely, the most important thing for me was having a connection with the vendor. For instance, as soon as I met with Rosie and Charles from Dolce Photography, I knew they were the right photographers/videographers for us. They matched our personality perfectly, making it easy for them to understand my vision and execute it flawlessly. They will be our family photographers/videographers forever!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

As cliche as it may sound, my favorite part of my wedding was the time I got to spend with all of my guests those four days. All of our loved ones coming together to celebrate our union was truly magical and we enjoyed the experience to the fullest.
If I had to choose one single element of my wedding, it would be the decor. Marva did a phenomenal job with my flowers, candles, and setup. The sparkly linens that I shipped from Nuage Designs in Miami gave it the touch of glamour I was looking for.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Do not procrastinate! I believe my wedding planning experience was blissful because I was extremely prepared and organized. I completed everything ahead of time, so I barely had anything to do the last few months. I was able to dedicate my free time to organize activities for me and my guests and book my honeymoon.
I love her advice for brides so much! Make sure time is on your side! You don’t want to be scrambling or super busy the last few weeks or days before your wedding. Get things done early and make sure to have a wedding planner or coordinator to help you manage your time and get everything crossed off your to-do list early!
