This stunning North Carolina vintage wedding captured by KMI Photography took place at the gorgeous Bellamy Mansion in Wilmington, NC. Vintage china, a touch of color, and lace elements make this beautiful southern vintage wedding one you must see!

From the bride, Caitlyn:

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My mom and bridesmaids kept me sane! My groom was deployed during most of the planning process and we were also planning to move to another state during the same month of our wedding. Life was pretty hectic. If it wasn’t for all the phone calls and e-mails from my girls, I don’t know how I would have made it all happen!

What was the most important thing to you when deciding whom to work with for your wedding?

We would be willing to pay a little more to work with people who love what they do! If that meant cutting the budget somewhere else, it was worth it. Colter and I truly value great customer service, and those who love what they do always go above and beyond to show they respect and appreciate you, too.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

Our venue. Before we were engaged, Colter and I just happened to walk through the Bellamy Mansion one Saturday while we were in downtown Wilmington. A sweet older lady had been watching us, and told Colt that he would make a wonderful husband one day. She was right!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

Our ceremony. I spent the majority of the planning on the party, but the ceremony turned out to be my favorite part of the day.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Don’t worry! Some things will go wrong, but the little mishaps turn into great stories after the wedding!

I’m just loving everything about this vintage wedding. From the vintage touches in the table settings and the bride’s sparkling shoes and the couple’s adorable sparkler exit!

What are you planning for your exit? Are you going the sparkler route, or doing something else?

Lovely pink, peach, and mint is the perfect color palette for this vintage shabby chic wedding inspiration from Rosetree Weddings & Events and Whitney Furst Photography! Taking place at a glorious apple orchard, this inspiration is made even more perfect with a pale blush wedding dress, a fabulous lush floral runner, and the most adorable farm animals…

We were completely inspired when we visited the lovely Minnetonka Orchards in the Minneapolis suburb, Minnetrista. Thoughts of days gone by came to mind as we walked throughout the apple trees. With vintage shabby chic chairs of matching pallets and chipped paint On Solid Grounds Vintage Rentals did not disappoint us with their rental selection. An heirloom lace table runner is adorned by a gorgeous floral tablescape with varying greens and pink hues created by Studio Fleurette. Under the romantic floral runner an old blush coated folding table has emerald green undertones peaking through. Delicate vintage china, muted gold flatware and antique store found handkerchiefs are simple yet elegant touches to create a romantic feel. Queen of Cakes designed a glorious ruffled emerald ombre cake trimmed with soft roses and babies-breath. Strawberry cream macarons by local Patisserie Margo in Excelsior, MN were a delectable delight to taste. Rosetree immediately fell in love with the whimsical blush dress with bejeweled belt provided by The Wedding Shoppe and accessorized it with stunning jewelry. We couldn’t pass up the vintage emerald clutch lined in brilliant gold we found at an antique store in Rogers, MN. Influenced by our vision, Katie Murphy Stationery produced a swanky watercolored peony invite that encompasses the sophistication of this vintage style shoot.

This style is just so beautiful, don’t you think? And the color palette is perfection!

This charming wine country wedding from Milou & Olin Photography features touches of East Coast cool mixed with the laid back vibe of California wine country. I love the rustic details, lush greenery and mouth watering Napa-style menu which pairs perfectly with the pale yellow and soft gray color palette.

Lovely wedding! I think my favorite detail has to be the adorable vintage door altar where Nicole and Chad exchanged vows. Adorned with their initials and a moss covered ampersand, it was perfect for their outdoor ceremony. Are you planning a unique ceremony marker or altar décor? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I am so excited to share this gorgeous California wedding from Sarah Kathleen with you today! Jessie and Tyler infused their personalities and lives into their wedding in so many amazing ways- I can’t wait for you to see!

From the bride, Jessie: “I am so happy I was able to include personal touch to the wedding details. Teaching and being in school full time does not give me a lot of leg room to invest in my creative side. Bringing Tyler and I’s little quirks and personality into the wedding day was truly the inspiration for creating so many details myself, and I am just so glad we were able to emulate that in our wedding day.”

“For name tags, Tyler and I wrote a math word problem per table, and the answer was the table number the guests were to sit at. Each math word problem had the names of our guests in it, and it was fun to see our guests mingle and interact trying to solve the problem and find their table. Because we are both teachers we thought that would add a unique personal touch.”

“My advice to other brides: When it comes to planning, pick the top 3 things that are most important to you. In the end, there are so many ways to do things, so many options, and so many people telling you how to do what, but this is your wedding that represents your marriage, so pick 3 things that are important to you and your man. And don’t let Pinterest overwhelm you!!”

Wasn’t that just gorgeous!!? I loved every single moment that Sarah Kathleen captured- pure amazingness! The simplicity of the centerpieces and tablescapes are great aren’t they? The bottles and jars that Jessie used as floral containers were great!
