Festive and elegant, this lavender and white wedding at The River House in downtown St. Augustine has all the makings of a gorgeously classic Southern feté. A destination wedding for the couple, Alex and Blake were surrounded by their family and friends for a gorgeous night on the water, and Kelly of Pure Sugar Studios was there to capture it all!

I love the simple lavender and white color palette! And that waterfront setting is pretty gorgeous, don’t you think?

With the Fourth of July holiday just around the corner, I’ve decided that it might be a crime if I didn’t share these fabulous red, white, and blue wedding ideas with you today! Embracing a bold, eclectic style, this inspiration captured by Claire Pacelli Photography and designed by Michele Butler Events showcases a modern take on “Americana”, and it’s just SO much fun!

From Cathrina Dionisio of Michele Butler Events:

“As a wedding planner and event designer, it’s really important to me to have the venue complement the theme of an event and not compete. When Zhay Robles from the Wyndham International Drive and Claire Pacelli of Claire Pacelli Photography approached me to create the concept for their shoot, I had to let the venue speak to me first. The resort had been recently remodeled and had a contemporary feel and its ballroom had this amazingly bold red, blue, and gray floral carpeting. After mulling a few ideas around, “Red, White, and Bloom” was born. The bold navy and white stripes were clean and contemporary and paired gorgeously with the Hailey Paige gown provided by Calvet Couture Bridal. I handcrafted all the oversized, red flowers out of tissue paper and had them mimic a lot of the floral that was used in our decor. The rest of the vendor team was on board and embraced our fresh, contemporary twist on Americana.
Our shoot incorporated so many custom touches from our Striped and Floral stationery created by Dogwood Stationery, to the All-American Treats by Sweet Bliss Couture Candy Catering, to designer cake by Anna Cakes, and of course the over sized flowers. The rentals provided by Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals and Linens by Over the Top rental linens were the perfect combination of contemporary and classic. We loved that Brides Be Beautiful kept our gorgeous model, Melinda, looking natural, especially by not covering her tattoos. So many of her tattoos captured the rebellious American spirit and just fit!”

How adorable is that pup?! I just love the giant flowers- they are such a fun detail! Everything about this red, white, and blue wedding inspiration has me wanting to start celebrating Independence Day right now!

Modern, chic, and elegant, this purple and white wedding captured by Kristen Weaver Photography is absolutely stunning! The day began at the oldest church in the Bahamas, where Bahamian natives Michelle and Patrick were married, followed by a gorgeous cocktail-style reception at the waterfront venue, Luciano’s Chicago. Modern, bold patterns, stunning florals, and a beautiful location are the makings of this fabulous wedding and you’re going to love it!

How gorgeous is that sparkling turquoise water?! I love that Michelle and Patrick were able to do portraits the day after their wedding!

These navy, mint, and peach wedding ideas I have for you all today are absolutely amazing! Featuring a chic, eclectic style, a gorgeously unique color palette, and oh-so-fabulous details, this inspiration from Andi Mans Photography and Blush by Brandee Gaar is most certainly one for the books!

How amazing is that blue seating?! I love the combination of the chairs with the sofa… what a unique way to infuse color into your wedding design! And I myself am loving every aspect of the placesettings- the way the menus are displayed, the napkin rings, and the placecards… the attention to detail is just stunning!
