Today’s tropical inspired wedding ideas will be my favorite shoot we ever feature on Every Last Detail because I know so many members of this sweet team. Just after we had experienced one of our only snowstorms this winter in Philadelphia, my friend Lauren from Trousseau Style started posting sneak peeks from her styled shoot – this one! After only a quick glimpse, I could not wait to see more, so you can only imagine my elation when I saw it in my feature cue!

Lauren styled the bride, groom, groomsman, and bridesmaids to perfection. The bridesmaids will absolutely wear their dresses again, and the bride’s dress from Ashe B. & Co is so lovely. Paired together with Lora’s event styling from Laurel and Elm, these two created a fantastic boho look that is equal parts glam, bright, and completely tropical right in the middle of Philadelphia. The beautiful Horticulture Center played host for the day, and it’s seriously a venue to see if you’re planning a Philadelphia wedding. And I would be completely remiss not to mention V List member Fresh Designs Florist’s fantastic floral crowns, bouquet, and centerpiece. Sue is the best and our absolutely favorite!

Overflowing with bohemian style and eclectic details, this gorgeous jewel toned wedding is everything. Love, laughter, and romance abounds in Dani and Brad’s Cotton Warehouse wedding, blending industrial and historic elements to create a perfectly eclectic look for their celebration of marriage. Family heirlooms, portraits on abandoned railroad tracks, and an amazing candlelit ceremony design are just a few of our favorite things from this Georgia wedding, and we can’t wait for you to see it all captured by Lindsey LaRue Photography!

I walked in the door of the getting ready location and was immediately greeted by the sound of laughter from the other room. Dani’s bridesmaids were all lounging around her as she was putting the finishing touches on her hair and makeup. One of my favorite things about this day was the dynamic between these girls. Sisters by blood and sisters by heart, it was clear that they all just adored Dani and couldn’t wait to stand beside her on her wedding day. The setting for their wedding was equal parts industrial and historic at The Cotton Warehouse in Monroe, GA. Everything from the abandoned railroad tracks to the repurposed buildings complemented Dani’s vision of an industrial bohemian wedding day. In a private glen just around the corner from the wedding venue, Dani and Brad shared a first look that was both romantic and joyful- just look at how Brad’s eyes light up when he looks at her! It was a day filled with so much love, laughter, and lighthearted gaiety- the perfect beginning to a beautiful marriage.Some of the unique details incorporated into Dani and Brad’s wedding were the family heirlooms they made a part of their day. Her something blue was her grandmother’s stunning blue-stone ring which she wore on her right hand. Doilies collected from family members decorated the ceremony, reception tables, and cake table. Finally, photos of loved ones passed were framed and hung from the aisle posts of the wedding ceremony- a touching tribute to those that couldn’t be there in person.

Family heirlooms, peaches, gold candlesticks, and magnolias all played a beautiful part in creating these Southern wedding ideas. Wanting to evoke a classic, romantic feel, Ashton Kelley Photography focused on bringing together classic Southern charm with personalized, meaningful touches to bring her brand to life. A summer inspired color palette of peach, coral, and dusty blue and an abundance of peaches set the stage to create a gorgeously Southern wedding design- we can’t wait for you to see!

This Southern countryside wedding inspiration shoot brings together classic Southern charm and personalized, meaningful touches that tell a beautiful love story. The romantic, timeless details are intertwined with the rich culture and traditions of the South. I wanted to bring my wedding brand to life through a styled shoot using details that evoke a classic, romantic feel with Summer colors of peach, coral, and dusty blue.
As a Southern girl, I wanted to incorporate as many family heirlooms and personal touches as possible, and I used my maternal great-grandmother and my paternal grandmother’s white and gold china, vintage rose glasses from an antique hunt with my parents, gold-plated salt dishes from my great-grandmother, gold flatware from a dear friend, an abundance of peaches since I was raised in Georgia. I designed all of the florals, pulling from the peach, blush, coral, and white color scheme in many of my favorite flowers, and I incorporated peaches into the centerpiece floral design. As a Georgia girl, peaches are the epitome of the quintessential Southern fruit, and this inspiration shoot was designed around peaches and the sweetness and vibrancy of a ripe peach. Magnolias, fresh peaches, family heirloom china, dripping candlesticks, and cocktails all meld together to inspire an effervescent celebration of love, an appreciation for the South and Southern hospitality, of family and traditions, and the start of a beautiful, sweet marriage.
The bride and groom are close friends of mine, and they are joyful newlyweds themselves. Their love story really shines through, as they celebrate their “Oh Happy Day,” enjoy a beautiful gold lace and ruffled wedding cake with their guests, spend a quiet moment alone on the front porch soaking in the beauty of their wedding day, and toast to this celebration of their love and their future together. The Virginia countryside and peach orchard is the perfect setting for an iconic, sweet love like this one.

Rustic Elegant Blush Cincinnati Wedding

Jenna and Ryan’s summer Cincinnati wedding is nothing short of incredible. Although the colors and details from their wedding are completely lovely, it’s their overarching theme of “come as you are” that served as their greatest inspiration. The pair wanted their guests to have a wonderful time at their soiree, and it’s safe to say everyone did!

The duo hosted their wedding at Greenacres Art Center, and I Do Boutique planned everything beautifully. The property – complete with fountains, gardens, and a castle-like main building – is sprawling and absolutely gorgeous. Guests were treated to a band before the couple exchanged their vows beneath an arbor draped with a gorgeous floral garland. Post ceremony, everyone joined together to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. in a reception complete with farmhouse tables, circular menus, and gorgeous florals in wooden boxes or vases wrapped in burlap. Y’all are going to love Jenna and Ryan’s wedding, and we can’t thank Ben Elsass Photography enough for capturing each and every image so thoughtfully.

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My mom and dad were kind enough to get the wonderful i-do-boutique team to help us plan our special day. Could not be more appreciative for my parent’s generosity.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

“Come as you are!” Both my husband and I wanted everyone to feel comfortable coming to our wedding. We didn’t want it to feel uptight or stuffy. We had a band playing during our cocktail hour and I think a couple of the band members weren’t even wearing shoes or socks, loved it!

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Don’t let anyone tell you how your wedding “should be”, do what makes you happiest in planning your wedding! Throw traditional stuff out the window if you don’t like it and make it your own perfectly unique wedding day. It is you and your husband’s day!
