Last year, we experienced an unseasonably warm winter on the East Coast, and Taylor and Peter definitely benefitted from the warmer temperatures on their February wedding day. It’s safe to say it looked like a spring! T+P met while attending college at Christopher Newport University, and they thoughtfully chose to return from their newly adopted city, New York City no less, to Peter’s hometown in Orange, Virginia for their soiree. As photographer Stephanie Michelle notes, this sweet pair’s fete was very clearly a “labor of love”. Taylor looked stunning in her Romona Keveza gown, which she purchased from famed Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan. I also couldn’t help but adore all of the florals designed by none other than T’s “man of honor”. Y’all, this gent is TALENTED! Invitations and stationery pieces featured a fantastic map of New York, and the couple turned to another talented wedding guest, a friend, who expertly designed each piece. Friends sang during the reception, the dance floor remained filled, and the Inn at Willow Grove could not have looked more lovely. From the moment they started getting ready until they exited through a sea of ribbons, Taylor and Peter radiated joy! You simply must see more.
