What do you call a get-together filled with food that happens a few days prior to Thanksgiving? Friendsgiving of course!
I’m so excited to share this Friendsgiving fete with you all today! What started out as a last minute “let’s just see who comes” became a beautifully intimate Thanksgiving inspired lunch party! When I arrived to find beautiful and simple tablescapes, complete with placecards, hand lettered mugs as gifts, and cozy tablecloths, I was oh-so-inspired. The host, my friend Rachel Laxton Photography, joked that she should photograph it, and I encouraged her with a, “Yes, PLEASE I will feature this tomorrow!” And so here, we are! Scroll on for some Friendsgiving inspiration, and to get the recipe to the pumpkin bread that I made!
Everyone was asked to bring a side dish or dessert, and the spread ended up being perfect! I made a brussel sprout salad, which is one of my favorite things, and SO easy to make. I wish we had grabbed a photo of it so I could give you the recipe (even though I just eyeball everything and have no clue what amounts I use- I’ll have to pay attention next time)! I did, however, make some awesome pumpkin bread that was a crowd favorite, so I wanted to share my friend’s recipe that I used!

So, how about you? Have you ever participated in a “Friendsgiving”? This was my first, and I’m pretty sure that we have a new tradition with my circle of business friends here!
Wishing you all the best Thanksgiving, and lots of wonderful time with family and loved ones!
