We are feeling all the crisp autumn vibes in this classic fall New York wedding captured by V List favorite Mikkel Paige Photography! From the Mr and Mrs carved pumpkins to the night ending with warm doughnuts, this wedding showcased everything we love about the season. The bride’s vision of a wedding inspired by her favorite show, Gilmore Girls, had her working with florist Monica Chimes to create the perfect Stars Hollow look. For her own look, the bride was the epitome of classic glamour with a Sareh Nouri gown complete with a low back and oversized bow. The reception at Crabtree’s Kittle House was light and airy, yet warm, with sunflowers and mini pumpkins lining the tables. It’s the absolute perfect autumn inspired wedding day, and we can’t wait for you to see it all!
From Mikkel Paige Photography:
Katie envisioned a “Stars Hollow” wedding for her and Jason’s special day, inspired by her love of Gilmore Girls! Warm tones and colors, leaves changing colors with summer giving way to fall just 40 minutes outside of Manhattan, and lots of pumpkins! The season harvest made an appearance in decor at their reception as well as their ceremony decorations.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets with berries, amaryllis, and eucalyptus against navy blue bridesmaids gowns. The groomsmen wore orange ranunculus boutonnieres.
Katie’s classic elegant look for her wedding was one she wanted to recall glamour of the mid 20th century. Jason complimented the color the bridesmaids wore with a blue bow tie and pocket square. A very special bracelet was worn by the bride: it was created from pearls, one her grandmother had given her, which her mother had strung together for a wedding day bracelet.
