Why do you see yourself as being modern, vintage, classic, or eclectic?
I love vintage and classic details and my style always has a Southern touch. I like to combine different design elements with a Southern flair to create something personalized for my brides.
What is your favorite wedding detail you’ve ever seen or created?
I love details that are personal and thoughtful. Special touches that you will look back on in 40 years and still love because they are just so you. Your parent’s cake topper, your grandmother’s pearls… be still my vintage loving heart.
What is your favorite store or brand?
Being a Southern gal, I love a good monogram. I’m also obsessed with jewelry. Swell Caroline is my guilty shopping pleasure and they have great customer service.
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
My favorite thing about weddings is that moment right before the ceremony begins. There is an almost audible hum in the air of nerves and excitement. The bridesmaids are always huddled together tearing up with happiness for their best friend and the father of the bride is squeezing his daughter’s hand in anticipation. It gives me goose bumps every time!
What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?
I truly fall head over heels in love with every single one of my couples. They, along with their families, become dear friends and members of the LPW family. I put my heart into my work because I love helping people.
What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?
I have the best staff in the whole world. They are so caring, attentive, and understanding of our brides. My assistant coordinators each possess this uncanny ability to juggle getting the MOB a glass of champagne while tying chair sashes while giving the DJ directions over the phone.. all with a big smile on their face. We all just simply love weddings and it shows in the client experience.
