There is nothing we love more than themed weddings, and these summer camp inspired wedding ideas have absolutely stolen our hearts! Drawing inspiration from their favorite summer camp activities, the Ivory + Beau team created a wedding look designed to be reminiscent of warm summer days at camp, and all the paper chains, friendship bracelets, and s’mores that go along with them.
A lakeside sunset ceremony sets a fun, eclectic tone, with a birch archway accented by yards of paper chains draped across it as the focal point for the ceremony design. A string light-clad pavilion was the perfect spot for the reception, complete with place settings with scavenger hunts to encourage guests to get involved with the surroundings. Wood farm tables adorned with wildflowers, berries, and foraged greenery provided just the right amount of beauty, combining with the outdoors to create a rustic, eclectic look. Oh, and of course we can’t forget friendship bracelets… everyone loves friendship bracelets! Funny enough, I do know a few people who met at Summer Camp and ended up getting married- this would have been a perfect theme for them! That’s why I love themes… because they can tell the story of a couple’s relationship through design and details!
