I must say- I am totally and completely IN LOVE with this pink and navy wedding from Jordan Weiland Photography that I have for you all today! From a ceremony with vintage church pews and yards of ribbon hanging from a big oak tree, to a completely outdoor reception adorned by gorgeous florals, market lighting, and chandeliers, every aspect of this wedding is utterly amazing. Needless to say, with a southern, vintage style, a fun color palette, and some absolutely fabulous decor, I’m pretty sure you’ll be falling in love with this wedding too…
From the bride, Marianne:
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
My wedding planner, Melissa Gutentag of 2 Sisters Events, was the biggest help with planning for my wedding day.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
I wanted someone who knew me. Someone that I could give my little idea to and make it into a whole wonderful wedding. I have been friends with Melissa for several years and I knew she knew me pretty well.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
My inspiration started with Pinterest. As we were dress shopping I found the bridesmaid dresses and loved them, and then the wedding took form around them.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
There isn’t just one favorite thing about my wedding. My wedding was more of an ambiance. It’s hard to explain in words. One of my favorite things is the way people reacted to the wedding. People still talk about it 2 months after. They aren’t talking me or my husband, they are talking about the event.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
My advice is to getting a wedding planner. I know you feel like that’s more money you could spend on things for your wedding, but a wedding planner is the BEST investment. Everyone gets to keep their sanity and you don’t lose your friends and family.
I love love love Marianne’s advice! I couldn’t have said it better myself! :) I’m still obsessing over the beautiful design of this whole wedding though. The colors, the tables, the CAKE! Marianne was right- her wedding definitely had an “ambiance” to it- and I love it!
So are any of you planning a wedding with a southern, vintage style like this one? What kind of details will you be having?
Vendors who made it all happen…

Love the bridesmaid dresses! I’ve been looking for ones like that and it’s been so hard to find cute navy ones! Can I ask where you found yours/what designer they are?
