Inspired by the effortless beauty of the Italian city of Florence, these blush, marsala and gold wedding ideas are perfectly reflective of the romantic and artistic air that abounds all throughout Tuscany. Add in some sequined dresses, sparkling wine, and gorgeous florals, and you have yourself some absolutely stunning wedding inspiration- and lucky for us, Meyerott Photography and Cinema captured it all!
From Amy of Meyerott Photography and Cinema…
Through every step of planning, visions of Florence kept coming through my mind. Being in the heart of the Midwest, it is a little difficult to find any architecture that even reminded us remotely of Florence so we headed to one of our favorite golf clubs that boasted rolling hills to Florence is a city of simple beauty. It’s muted colors and open air just allow you to breathe much deeper to soak it all in. We knew we wanted to incorporate rose gold because blush is one of the main colors of romance and if you stroll along the Ponte Vecchio, the jewelers will tell you that rose gold actually originated in Italy- not Russia as historians claim. We decided to add in soft touches of silver and gold to provide a mismatched friendliness that continued into our tables and cakes.
And of course it all has to be shown in even more gorgeous detail with an amazing film…

I LOVE the bold tones of marsala paired with blush and shades of gold. And how amazing are ALL of the dresses- the bride’s BHLDN gown and the bridesmaids’ sparkling sequined dresses?! Truly gorgeous and oh-so-romantic- and so very perfect for a wedding design!
Vendors who made it all happen…
