A California vineyard wedding is without a doubt always going to be beautiful… and when you have Lindsey Gomes Photography capturing it, the beauty may as well be guaranteed! This mint and orange wedding is filled with rustic style, fabulous details, an amazing setting, and yes- it is most definitely gorgeous.
From the bride, Kelly:
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
I hate to be super cliche but I couldn’t have done my wedding with out Pinterest! I got most of my ideas and inspiration from there.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
When it came to deciding who to work with, feeling that they understood my vision was the most important. I wanted to know I was in good hands and that I wouldn’t have to worry about things. I wanted someone who would answer emails asap or phone calls and didn’t take days to get back to me. Planning a wedding was stressful enough, so good communication and feeling like the vendors were up for the challenge was super helpful.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
We wanted a wedding that was low key and laid back where everyone felt comfortable and had a good time, but at the same time the elegance of what a wedding encompasses. We didn’t want people to feel like they were at some red carpet event. So keeping that in mind we went with comfort foods and drinks and a laid back atmosphere.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
Ah thats so hard! I would have to say it was when Marc and I were at the end of the aisle, hand in hand. I don’t think i heard a single word our minister was saying. We were in our own little world just laughing and whispering to each other. We couldn’t stop smiling and starring at each other and giggling like little school girls. It was fantastic to feel a moment just between two people. Something i’ll always cherish!
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Time management!! Plan projects far in advanced so you aren’t stressed out with getting things done and stay well organized! It just helps streamline things!!
Isn’t this such a beautiful location? Outdoor weddings are just always so gorgeous. And what did you think of the centerpieces in the wine crates? Great idea, right?!
Are any of you going to be using something unique as a part of your table designs like Kelly did? I would love to hear all about it!
Vendors who made it all happen…
