I don’t know about you, but I’ve been anticipating the season premiere of Game of Thrones for quite some time now. And when this shoot featuring Game of Thrones wedding ideas arrived in my inbox, I just knew I had to do a special feature today- right before the premiere!
Combining a love for Game of Thrones and inspiring brides, Kate Farley Designs, In your Shoes Event Design, and BG Productions wanted to do something a little bit different from the norm. Using jewel tones, a stag to represent the different “houses”, and even swords, these Game of Thrones wedding ideas display what would be a softer side to a theme inspired by the popular show. And one of the best parts- the models, Ashlee and Jen, are getting married next year! Such great practice in front of the camera – and maybe even inspiration- for them!
And of course I love a good behind-the-scenes video, and BG Productions created a great one…
How great is this Game of Thrones theme?! I love how it was all done so subtly and beautifully, but still carried the theme throughout. This is the perfect example of how you can really be inspired by *anything* for your wedding. PS- in all seriousness, if my husband and I were getting married again, a Game of Thrones theme would most likely be in the running. :)
Are any of you getting your inspiration from a favorite show like Game of Thrones? If you had to pick, what show or movie would you choose to be inspired by for your wedding? I’d love to know!
Vendors who made it all happen…
