The modern look of this week’s “Floral Print Wedding Ideas” miniseries from Mikkel Paige and Roey Mizrahi Events is simple, clean, and colorful- everything that modern should be! I love the unique floral print and watercolor elements that was used…
From Roey:
“Modern” was highlighted through its crisp, clean, minimalistic look. I wanted everything to blend in with one another, creating this muted understated palette. Even the pale color of the flowers blended with the hues on the table. I wanted to create this effect for two reasons, to allow the watercolor floral print to pop and make a subtle statement and I also wanted to truly create a tablescape and palette that resembled that of a watercolor stroke, which meant creating a gentle translucent tablescape with the addition of the floral watercolor napkins and watercolor place cards. Sometimes less is more. I think it made more of a statement including and incorporating the watercolor “Floral Print” in a subtle way than if I were to showcase it in a larger way.
I love the color palette that Roey used! It’s subtle, but yet still provide a pop of color and beauty.
