I don’t think elegant weddings will every go out of style- at least I hope they never do! They’re so timeless, and are always beautiful. This elegant pink wedding from Jenn Hopkins Photography is definitely timeless and beautiful, and a little bling, fabulous florals, and some insight from the bride make it even better! :)
Who helped you most in your planning process and on your wedding day?
I have always known what kind of wedding I wanted; classic, sophisticated and traditional. I remember thinking about colors and themes that I loved even when I was young. So once we were engaged, I just needed to find someone to help take my thoughts into reality. My wedding planner, Lauren Cowgill of Windham Event Design really helped bring my vision to life. She did all the event design, flowers and coordinating for the church and reception. My photographer Jenn Hopkins was also a tremendous help when it came to logistics of the wedding day. Because of these two women (and a year of strategic planning) the day ran so smoothly and I really was not stressed at all. :)
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
When deciding whom to work with for our wedding, Brian and I agreed we wanted someone who fit with our personalities. Someone who understood our requests but who could also relax and have fun with us. I definitely think we got that from our vendors. Our photographer, Jenn and I still stay in contact and I really view her as a friend. I truly believe this comes through in our photos. She understood what was important to us and was able to capture it.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
Before our wedding, I thought for sure my favorite thing would be the flowers or cake or something detail related, but after our wedding I realized my favorite thing about our wedding was that everyone had such an amazing time. We had all of our closest friends and family there to dance the night away. Even months later, I still have people tell me what a blast they had…and to us, that’s most important. Memories of the flowers, food, cake etc seem to fade, but when people have a good time, they rarely forget it!!
Such wonderful insight from the bride Gracie! I am SO loving that big square table and the crystal chandeliers that are hanging over it! What a gorgeous focal point! Thank you so much to Jenn Hopkins Photography for sharing this beautiful wedding, and thank you to Gracie for sharing her insight with us! :)

I expect the table area to be full of gorgeous decorations, but it seems that simplicity is beauty. You just made the place look so elegant even without much decors on it.
