I’ve got a gorgeous elegant wedding for you all today from the lovely Kristen Weaver Photography! The bride’s dress is just about as elegant as it gets, and the colors of blush pink, pale blue, and silver are absolutely exquisite! Plus, I have some awesome insight to share with you all from the bride, Mindy!

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

What helped me most in my planning was having a dual action plan at all times. I was in the midst of completing my master’s degree which made everything CRAZY. Therefore, I always kept my calendar with me in order to keep everything straight. I started with a Master To Do List that had everything on it I could think of. Then I calendared the major things so that I could have an overall picture of what was getting done when. Secondly I carried a daily list that broke down the major task for that week into bite size pieces that I could accomplish throughout the day. I used this step by step process right up until the day of. I have kept it and when I look back over it now, it still makes me feel exhausted. :)

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

Who I worked with for the wedding was determined by two main factors. First, could they really grasp my vision and second, could we work well  together. I knew the vendors would be working with me during fun, visionary moments as well as the stressful, frazzled moments and I wanted to know that our personalities could gel during both times.
