Today’s {Detail To Love} comes to us from the amazing Dog N’ Bird. Bird is always finding some great details and ideas, and so I asked her if she wanted to contribute a few for the Detail To Love feature! (If you haven’t gone to Dog N’ Bird yet, you MUST!)

Cake Bunting. I wasn’t exactly sure about what that was, but now that I know, it makes complete sense! It’s like a mini-banner to decorate cakes. Perfect if you’re having your cake as a part of a candy bar or dessert table. Even more perfect if you’re having a simple wedding or throwing a baby/bridal shower! KikiLaRu on Etsy has really taken cake bunting and brought it to a whole new level, complete with using “vintage and upcycled fabrics”.

So adorable! It’s a little piece of decor that can provide a lot of “kick”. You could even take it a step further and have large fabric banners made to complement the cake bunting, and carry the theme throughout your whole wedding (or shower)! I’m loving it! So, what do you think? Is anyone going to be using these for an upcoming wedding or shower?

What a cool decoration for a cake. I love this, it makes the cake seem more festive.
