Yes, I’m a book lover. Not to the extent to where I have my nose in a book every free second I get, although I wish I could do that (I just have my nose stuck in Twitter and blogs instead). But my love for books goes a little further than wishing I could read them more. Using books as part of a centerpiece or part of some sort of wedding decor is a-mazing.

Of course you have to have the right style of wedding to use books- a modern black and white wedding with books isn’t going to be your best call. And if you want to use books as a part of your wedding, it’s most likely immediately going to reflect your personality, which you know I’m a HUGE fan of. So, who’s using books as a part of their wedding decor? Anyone?

Beautiful! I love the vintage look. I’m hoping to do something similar, even if it’s just with Harry Potter books haha :)

I had some clients a couple of years ago, he was an editor, and she worked for the city library…they were obviously literary. They decided to combine their book collections as their centerpieces, and themed the tables! One table had both their copies of the complete works of William Shakespeare. One table had cooking books, and another had travel guides. Each stack was wrapped like a gift in lovely black organza ribbon tied with a bow on top, and I was asked to add a daisy and/or lily to each stack as a small accent with color and to tie the centerpieces into their bouquets and boutonnieres. Fantastic! Make sure you have a dolly to carry in the heavy accessories, and lift with your kenes, but what a great insight for your guests into you as a couple (you are what you read), for so little money.
(I can send pictures if you’d like them.)

I so totally love the idea of incorporating books into the wedding reception. I have seen some well done ideas based around books.
