Full of color, fun, and tons of glitter and sequins, this Great Gatsby inspired wedding planned by Atlanta Event Studio and captured by Tulle and Grace is definitely going to put a smile on your face! If black and white stripes, gold sequins, and shades of pink, yellow, and orange aren’t enough to win your heart, then some of the most amazing wedding details I’ve seen certainly will! But I’ll stop right there so you can see everything for yourself while the gorgeous bride, Lauren, tells you all about her awesome wedding!
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
My husband helped throughout the planning process- from searching for venues and coming up with the play list for the DJ. He was also supportive and encouraging during all my crazy wedding crafts-including hand painting and glittering 200 gold bottles for the tablescapes. My parents were also helpful with logistical details and out of town guests.
Hiring our wedding planner, Amanda, was the best choice we could have made. She made our day run smoothly, and I don’t know what I would have done without her. Amanda was able to create a timeline that fit all of our events, and kept us running on time. She kept us organized throughout the planning process, and confirmed all our vendors for us. On our wedding day we were able to enjoy the day and spend it with friends and family and didn’t have to worry about a thing.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
Glitter & The Great Gatsby.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
Being an interior designer, the tablescape design and other design details were important to me. I wanted the decor to be really unique and reflect details about who we are as a couple. My favorite part of the day, other than getting married, was dancing the night away with all of our friends and family.
And we even have proof that this wedding was amazing thanks to this awesome highlight film from White Dress Media…

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
HIRE A PLANNER! A wedding doesn’t have to be stressful. Especially for the day of- The day goes by so fast, you want to be able to enjoy every second and not have to worry about all the small problems and details.
The most perfect advice ever- y’all know I say to hire a planner all the time, but hearing it from brides always means so much more!
I’m still SO in love with every single aspect of Lauren and Chase’s wedding! Not only are they the most adorable couple, but the design and details are just absolutely amazing! And the glitter and sequins… hands down my favorite part of this fabulous wedding!
So are any of you going to be incorporating glitter and/or sequins into your own wedding? Please say yes!!! :)
